Bungie,
In some previous Mmo/Rpg games I've played you can take a look of armors/weapons and use currency to put it on another set of armor/weapon. Example below.
Go to NPC and place items in 3 slots:
Slot 1 Stats - level 30 raid helm placed
Slot 2 Look - level 5 rare helm placed
Slot 3 Payment - strange coin/motes/shards/glimmer. To me best idea said is weapon/armor parts as a payment as well.(edited)
Result = level 5 helm with level 30 stats (still required level 20 to wear)
What u all think?
[If yes please make sure to bump post up to top ;) ]
Edit: Most popular ideas regarding the matter will make it on the list.
1. Looks like most popular suggestions calls for transmogrification Bungie.
2. I'd like to point out that some people are suggesting DCUO type where u save the look of the armor you've obtained. (Just another suggestion.
3. Another new addition that has been brought up is having a vanity slot for each weapon/armor slot and just place the look you're going for in there without changing stats.
4. Some don't want to be able to do this with exotics just legendaries
5. Other players also brought up being able to use motes of light to increase light levels on weapons and armors
6. Another guardian suggested ability to "rotate" through options for how the shader colors are applied to a specific piece of gear.(edit)
7. Also brought up is the ability to "purchase" custom icons that can be applied to your gear or weapons (similar to the Queen items)
****Keep it up guardians were trending!!!!****

작성자: DoktorBoar 11/20/2014 11:58:28 AMI don't know why they established all this "elite" gear that's won like the powerball lottery. It's how hardcore gamenerds try to create an identity - by being "better" than everyone else. It's gross. This game is a slap in the face to individuality, and it's a shame too with such good looking candy coated models. My blue awoken hunter is beautiful to look at, but her gear and weapons can't be a reflection of my personal style. Customization is always a win. It's better to cultivate individuality than elitism I think. It's way cooler.

3 답변1. A second slot that would make the equiped item look like the one we put in the secondary slot. We still would keep the perks of the main item, but the main equipped item would have the looks of the secondary item. 2. Different PVE buffs on Exotic pieces. Lets make the exotics more exotic imo! + 5% glimmer gain bonus + 10% more damage on Cabals, Hive and the other factions - 20% damage reduction taken by elites + 10% chance of finding a god chest And the list could go on... 3. Adding green engrams into chests instead of items! Would give us additional source of Cryptarch exp. 4. Emblems that give bonuses to exp, glimmer, etc. 5. Exotic ships and sparrows please! 6. After char relog and/or directly apearing in the Tower or give is an additional vault in our ships. The higher the rarity of the ship, the bigger its vault becomes.

Yes! Bungie please make this happen! We all hate being forced to wear the same armour as everyone else if we want to level up. There's so many nice pieces of armour that we discard and no one will ever wear because of the light level (or lack of it) attached to it! I really like some of the rare hunter armour (I have one of the nightmask helmets in my vault because it looks cool) but it's too impractical to wear.

3 답변I like the Transmog idea. It's worked well in the past. I do however feel that Exotics should stay the way they are. Weapon shaders would also be nice.

3 답변This is called transmog in some games and it's great. In world of Warcraft I used to transmog like 7 year old gear no one had anymore..... Ultimate uniqueness. Great Idea

I like it! But I don't think there are enough sets yet to make this possible. It's a typical issue with the MMO genre and they have some pretty simple fixes in existence already. I would like to add bits to my gear, but that's a far more intensive exercise.
