Bungie,
In some previous Mmo/Rpg games I've played you can take a look of armors/weapons and use currency to put it on another set of armor/weapon. Example below.
Go to NPC and place items in 3 slots:
Slot 1 Stats - level 30 raid helm placed
Slot 2 Look - level 5 rare helm placed
Slot 3 Payment - strange coin/motes/shards/glimmer. To me best idea said is weapon/armor parts as a payment as well.(edited)
Result = level 5 helm with level 30 stats (still required level 20 to wear)
What u all think?
[If yes please make sure to bump post up to top ;) ]
Edit: Most popular ideas regarding the matter will make it on the list.
1. Looks like most popular suggestions calls for transmogrification Bungie.
2. I'd like to point out that some people are suggesting DCUO type where u save the look of the armor you've obtained. (Just another suggestion.
3. Another new addition that has been brought up is having a vanity slot for each weapon/armor slot and just place the look you're going for in there without changing stats.
4. Some don't want to be able to do this with exotics just legendaries
5. Other players also brought up being able to use motes of light to increase light levels on weapons and armors
6. Another guardian suggested ability to "rotate" through options for how the shader colors are applied to a specific piece of gear.(edit)
7. Also brought up is the ability to "purchase" custom icons that can be applied to your gear or weapons (similar to the Queen items)
****Keep it up guardians were trending!!!!****

작성자: Loot Cave Rave 11/20/2014 5:07:33 PMI'd like to see a similar thing to the bitch in the sewers on Skyrim. Her deal is this - pay her some coins and you can change your hair, face and skin colour. Destiny could do this - pay Xur some motes or coins and you can amend your hair, face and skin colour. Shaders could be unique too. If the bitch in the tower who sells the shaders had this, I'd be happy - You can buy a shader template. One of a few designs, but with no colours. Then you buy colours to fill it in with and apply em. To keep the servers from going crazy, once you've coloured it in, it's locked. This would be good for those wanting to look more pimp than someone else or for clans wanting a team shader no other team is using. This is what I want and I won't stop wanting it until I get it. I don't, however, agree with being able to customize the skills or traits of a weapon. That would ruin what we have going now and would result in too many people having the exact same gun with the exact same perks. Changing the colour of your gun, yes, fo sho. Adding emblems and shiz to them too, yes. Good OP btw.

I honestly don't care if everyone looks alike. I don't even think everyone looks alike right now. I'm more worried about the glitches and bugs in the raid and other areas. I'd rather they focus on those than enable us to play "dress up".

Just a theory I had, but some equipment might be intentionally made to be a certain way. As a Titan, when I got the Helm of Saint-14 or whatever, I was stoked because I think the blinding bubble thing is awesome. Unfortunately, I think it's the dumbest looking helmet in the game. Then I started thinking, Bungie did it that way because the helmet is slightly OP, and it warns people in the crucible not to go in that bubble. It can be seen from a mile away.

1 답변It is as simple as allowing us to take the look of 1 item & giving it the stats / rank of another. So you could take an exotic armor skin & placing it with legendary stats making it a legendary. or taking a blue armor skin & giving it raid stats & skin. No one looks the same, easy customization AND the devs didn't put all that hard work into white, green & blue armor for no reason.

작성자: Ereaser 11/20/2014 1:28:57 PMI like the idea, but it needs to be worked out more. I think it should just stay the item stat item, but with a different model. Also it should show some indication that it was transmorfed and there should be an option to remove/replace it. I agree with point 4, because exotics look unique and have unique abilites. And I disagree with point 3 and 5 3 Because: that would just be too easy, there should be put some effort in changing your looks. 5: because it's a bad idea in general. "Look at my normal (grey) starter helmet being light 30!"

1 답변Guild wars 2 did it best. Once you found the armor you dnt even need to keep it. It unlocks the look so you can use it at anytime. Keeps stats of what you equiped

Make it like DCUO where as long as youve equiped something once, it goes in your style category. Like the look of that lvl 12 chest piece but cant wear it anymore since it will drop your level? Np, now u can keep all your leveld up armor equiped but just change the look by going into your style settings. Also while im stealing ideas from DCUO, how about multilayered color wheel instead of shaders?

Bumping. Don't forget weapons as well. For example: >weapon shaders >more designs for scopes >visible change for weapon upgrades (stocks change whenever you add a "stability" perk) >of course, perk customizations as well.

작성자: DoktorBoar 11/20/2014 11:58:28 AMI don't know why they established all this "elite" gear that's won like the powerball lottery. It's how hardcore gamenerds try to create an identity - by being "better" than everyone else. It's gross. This game is a slap in the face to individuality, and it's a shame too with such good looking candy coated models. My blue awoken hunter is beautiful to look at, but her gear and weapons can't be a reflection of my personal style. Customization is always a win. It's better to cultivate individuality than elitism I think. It's way cooler.
