Why would the Traveler give out info about it being evil. The line has nothing to do with being evil. Bungie made it clear that the Traveler is good, and there is no evidence stating otherwise. What you posted is not evidence, but a weak attempt to validate your denial of the Traveler.

Bungie said it was good. And none of the evidence you've provided is even remotely efficient to create a well-developed theory. And what else in the story could suggest it's good, other than people flat out stating it is.

Bungie themselves never suggests the Traveler is good, the Speaker does. On the other hand, most game lore, as shown through all the replies in this thread, suggest the Traveler and/or the Speaker have malicious intents. You can't deny evidence, unless you don't believe in science.

In the Destiny Wiki, it says that the Traveler sparked the Golden Age. It also saved us at the collapse of the Golden Age and sacrificed itself to protect us from darkness. It also says in the Grimoire that the Traveler chose to stay and fight the darkness for us. That it gave everything it had for us. If that doesn't state the Traveler is good, I don't know what else would.

Were you there? Did you see the traveler saving humanity? No. That's what the speaker tells you, makes you believe(yes that wiki post is something the speaker tells you). If it was true, why doesn't the speaker tell us? Like he "could tell us" as he himself states. Why doesn't he tell us ANYTHING? because he's corrupting us, making us believe in his lies. But i don't blame him, he did a real good job, you're a perfect example.

All the grimoire is very cryptic and leaves room for speculations, but your previous comments all show that you're rather weak minded and not able of speculation and reading between the lines. But that's ok, i don't mind.

You've bought the lies of the traveler hook line and sinker. You are proving how manipulative it can be and demonstratong how the poor guardians could've been duped just like yourself- due to a couple of lines of rhetoric. You've posted over and over about science and evidence but I havent seen you produce a single shred of evidence to support your claims?

I find you annoying as hell as well. Why is the darkness evil? Just because the Traveler chose to stay and fight it that doesn't make it evil. Nothing in the story confirmed the goodness of anyone. I saw no innocents being saved or persecuted on either side. Did you? Once again no evidence and you haven't refuted in anyway any of the grimoire card excerpts presented here. And the story has not been finished we know for sure there are expansion packs coming and a so called ten year plan. You want to take everything at pure face value - that's fine and naïve but I don't. I want to delve and explore what I hope to be a much more complicated and nuanced story as the grimoire presents it.

Darkness = evil. Also, you haven't presented me with any Grimoire excerpts that support your theory. You're interpreting them different than what they actually are. And what I mean by the story is that since the Traveler is represented as good and there's nothing that says otherwise, then that must mean that the Traveler is good.

Darkness it not evil there are a lot of animals that live in darkness and that does'nt make them evil we as humans fear the darkness because we can't see and live normally in the dark where sone animals can't really live in the light its all about the perspective again my friend

How do you know he's talking to a Guardian? And of course the darkness is evil! What else would be!? Do you think it means actual darkness? Like night time!? No! It means evil! Like the dark side! If we think we are good of course we are going to call our enemies evil - it doesn't make it so. Stupid governments do that all the time. There's no talking to you, you are just too simple and naive. And by your logic if I call you Darkness then you are evil, is that the case? of course not its just a label. And you still haven't refuted the grimoire excerpt.
