Destiny-Worst Game Of All Time?

quit being dramatic Destiny is an extremely fun game. It's one of the best shooter engines around, has an incredible score, good graphics that are being held back by the decision to be available to old gen, and a creative department that crafted some very interesting game environments, enemies, and weapon choices. It is a phenomenal framework upon which fully fleshed out and properly developed content failed to be produced by launch. Whether or not this oversight is corrected, and the potential fullfilled is debatable (and I come down on the side of disappointingly unfullfilled), but that the game is still a very good one is not.

작성자: Andreas17Chief 11/13/2014 4:54:37 PMBy far not. For starters it is not part 10 of itself (like CoD ... which had CoD4 to be fair ... awesome). The story is not as rich and complex as I hoped, though. That's what happens when your lead writer leaves, I guess. There is lots of potential when it comes to gameplay (public events are a great feature and the general concept of the shared world shooter). Role-playing aspects are great and the way you can change between abilities is quite different (it allows to be prepared and you never come to the point where you skilled wrong ... experimenting is way easier in Destiny than in other games with role-playing elements). The music has it's moments but over-all it misses THE certain touch (I don't know how to describe it). Most of the themes go back to the early trailers and vidocs. Kicking M. o'Donnell was a mistake, in my opinion. The world will certainly offer more places to explore via DLC, but 3 more story missions are not much (especially considering what we have so far). Sure there will be a new strike and a new raid which probably counts into that story arch ... I'm not sure about this. Point is: Destiny surely not the worst game of all time, but with a lot of wasted or hold back potential (Is Activision and it's price policy the source of that?)
