Is anyone getting legendary engram drops?
Hey there,
Since the patch that came out about a month ago that fixed that every purple engram you get, you would be guaranteed to get a purple, I haven't had a single purple engram drop from enemies.
However, I do get them as rewards rarely for crucible and strikes and such, but never anymore from enemy drops.
Before that patch I would still get one every once in a while (not often either, but that's why it's legendary).
My question: is it only me that hasn't had a legendary engram drop, or are there more of you out there?

1 답변Before the patch purple engrams dropped more frequently, but decoded into legendaries less. When they changed it purple always gets legendary they reduced the drop rate to match.

2 답변It happens, but rarely. So far, I've gotten a special (77 wizard), a primary (ascendant energy), and a class (AOS#Cryptid). Two of them, coincidentally, came from the the same room. It's just luck.

Today I had a legendary engram drop while I was doing the nightfall solo. Before today, the last time I saw a legendary drop was last week. I had two legendary engrams drop right next to each other during the nightfall (The Nexus), then I got two more as a reward for doing the weekly heroic strike on level 28 right afterwards. So yeah, they're still dropping, but as someone else said, at a much lower rate.

I got 4 legendary engram drops in 2 days last week, which was more than I had gotten collectively since I started playing. 2 were class item engrams which was lame. I remember thinking that it was super random to get all these drops in 2 days. Guess I got lucky (kind of).. who needs fricken class items anyway lol I'm lvl 29 I have all that I need in that department

From what I understand, there was a patch to fix the "OHHH I have a lengendary engram....WHAT YOU MEAN IT'S A RARE ITEM? I've got 15 legendary engrams and they're all RARE?" But to fix the balance now that legendary engrams are now very very very very very more likely to give legendary equipment.....is to make them drop even less.
