It finally happened.
I have heard about this, but never thought it would happen. I was about to join a hard raid run with my level 30 hunter. Got in the party and than was asked to leave because I was a hunter. I have played with some of the guys in the party many times and yet the other half felt a hunter was unneeded.
I have to assume they wanted to cheese atheon the new way but still I hold my own in the raid and do whatever is needed at the time. I know I haven't done a flawless run yet, but still I'm nowhere near the worst.
Just a little shocked.
Edit: Thank you for all your responses. I appreciate the kindness and feel for those who have gone through this prior and in the future. It's not that big of deal for me because I run the raid when I can with whoever. I have helped a few groups through their first raid a few times now. If you wish to invite me along and i'm on, send me an invite. My psn is the same as my forum name. I play on the ps4. Once again thank you.

Edit 3: Sorry I am not able to reply to everyone, I signed on and saw 50 responses. I did want to point out one thing about Hunters in the raid on hard, we can't self-rez, or bubble, or stealth revive, but we are far more careful. I have seen Warlocks go down far more than any Hunters I have played with. Not saying that the warlocks were poor players, but that the self-rez made them careless. Titan bubbles also tend to create false sense of security. Granted most if not all of you understand this and have acknowledged it. Hopefully, the third subclass provides a more team oriented option for raids...or they buff GG.

why the hell would they get rid of a hunter? gunslinger can one-shot oracles in portals with golden gun, saves everyone else valuable ammo and time wasted not grenading praetorians in Venus. eff those guys, not worth your time.

Yeah I'm a level 29 hunter and people see my level alone and don't want me to join them in the raid. I've done it on hard 5 times! It's just annoying as I don't get the time like a lot of people I work 5 days a week and go out with my mates a lot so I don't get the time to grind out the game 24/7

작성자: Saboteur 12/5/2014 7:30:37 PMI hard raid with my 30 warlock and titan, but in my experience, the hunters that I play with make me feel most secure because they depend on their skills to survive unlike titan that uses the Hubble and warlock' self res. I always welcome hunters in my raid groups.

2 답변Several weeks ago. Got some random invites in the tower. I mostly ignore them all but i was bored and messaged him and said "ok" Everything went ok until we started doing the templar part. We did the first 2 towers and most players were already complaining about me stealing their kills. After doing the last part of the tower. The legion came and i tried destroying them all with my rockets. Making sure no 1 was getting killed by the fanatics lol. After the legions, we went to the orbit and before i was kicked.. they said it's wasn't cool to steal kills. So i got kicked because i was stealing their kills :/

Atleast you have people to play with. My brother just got the game and can't find a group to run normal raid. He's only been playing a week but he's high enough level to do it. 26. I did my first run at 25 normal. Nobody wants a low lvl in the groups anymore lol. I feel for him but it is what it is

1 답변I think you may need to make friends with some of the people in this thread. I've literally only ever beaten the Templar once correctly, every other Raid turns into a cheese, Atheon is easy to beat without pushing him off. I hope the new Raid is cheese free

3 답변Hunterism needs to go, we should all be treated equally. ( I am a Titan) TBH the hunter needs a buff in pve for sure.

I pray for the day the Hunter is the most valuable class in a raid,and this is coming from a Warlock. You shouldn't have to get rejected because your personal preference on your favorite class is different from others. Players like that who wanted you gone make me sick.

2 답변umm hunters are the best during Atheon If you get teleported to desert, mars, past, WHAT EVER you can kill all the hobgoblins If you get teleported to Venus, future, jungle WHAT EVER you shoot the Minotor 3 times and then stick it with a trip mine grenade and it will die During Atheon fight Kill supliments easy Destroy Detain bubbles for everyone instant For blade dancer (not as good) Turn invisible to open portals that's it really, blade dancer is better for PVP

I main a lvl 30 Hunter with great weapons and I almost never die with the relic. Plus golden gun is great for oracle and supplicant clean up and helps out a lot when ported to Venus or taking out gate keepers. That's a hunter role and all classes have roles. Warlock have self revive which can stop wipes (that's just about it since they can't cheese now lol) and Titans have bubble which is useful for using the relic in the middle platform method.
