I think I now understand why Joseph Staten left Bungie. However, was Destinys story altered as soon as Joseph left Bungie in September 2013? If so, that explains why Destinys story is lackluster. For those who do not know, Joseph Staten was the lead cinematic director for Halo 1, 2, and Halo 3 ODST. He also was involved with Halo 3 and Halo Reach. I left a video for you guys. This trailer was released in July 2013 and Joseph Staten left the following year in September. Around 11:10 I believe Joseph Staten had a big involvement with these cinematics which were ultimately cut once he left Bungie in September. What do guys think? Bungie now doesn't have that special touch anymore, whether it's story telling or music. Such a shame.
