I love Destiny. I enjoy the game a lot. It has it faults but overall I enjoy the experience and game play.
My question is, if I enjoy this game will I enjoy Halo MCC when it releases? Never played Halo and want in to FPS back then. Just wondering if it's worth picking it up.

The controls felt so natural compared to the clunky mechanics of that Pierce Brosnan game for the N64. The control schemes you use now in Destiny, Battlefield and Call of Duty have their roots in Halo, which came at a time when elitists thought you needed a mouse and keyboard for any shooter. And then there was the multiplayer. Without Halo, Xbox Live dies a slow, painful death. Without Halo, Playstation doesn't even bother. Suddenly, competitive arena-style shooting wasn't restricted to LAN parties. Now kids can sit in their mother's basement and shoot their friends that live all the way at the end of the street, rather than lugging their gear a block away. Halo opened eyes. Bungie gave us a highly polished game with an enthralling campaign and hectic PVP action that kept people glued to their couches all day and night. There is a reason why, for a decade, every publisher tried to market their new shooter franchise as the "Halo Killer". Killzone, Gears, and yes Call of Duty have all held that label, and yet what was once supposed to be a trilogy has turned into seven console games with another on the way soon. So yes, you should play Halo. Oh, and the campaign for Reach was awesome, don't listen to the weiners who hated it because John 117 was AWOL

Halo 1-3 will feel very dated because of this. They may not play exactly as you might expect. However, if you're looking for an epic, story-driven, sci-fi space opera... look no further than Halo. It'll have far more content than Destiny, at least. ;)

6 답변If you have a Xbox One and you have never played Halo you owe it to yourself to get The MCC. Hell, if you're an X1 owner who played all Halos you owe it to yourself to get it.

Halo CE would be worth experiencing even if you had to go find an XBOX 1 (not One, but 1) to do it with. But if you have an Xbox One, and can experience it in 1080p at 60fps? It's a no brainer. Not to mention you're getting literally 4 games for $60.

1 답변작성자: Wheeze 10/30/2014 6:12:36 PMThe original Halo CE remains one of the finest FPS campaign experiences I have ever played, even though it's what... 13 years old now? The other campaigns are all excellent, as well. At the time, Halo 2 was a low point due to a lame cliffhanger ending, but that shouldn't be a problem with MCC. The thing that the Halo series does really well, better than any other FPS game I can think of, is they give you a sandbox and a bunch of tools to play with and let you decide how the approach the combat encounter. They don't have big scripted events the way, say, CoD games do, which are practically rail shooters. You can play the same encounter multiple times with a variety of tactics. Add in co-op and it's a blast. And the PvP is all around incredible, but that probably goes without saying. I'm inexplicably stoked for its release, even though I already own all the games.

7 답변Think Halo as Destinys big brother... Better story, worlds and multiplayer, of course like all big brothers it tricks and makes fun of the younger sibling. If you haven't played Halo the MCC will be the bet thing for you as it plays the four main games, then all you need is reach, odst and halo wars... And I don't care what people say Halo wars was awesome

Get it. It's definitely worth four times the money that they are offering it for.. Especially if you've never played Halo before! Plus, it does an amazing job telling the best story I've ever seen in a game. Fills in that blank spot that Destiny left out!

Halo has a good story. All about pvp. I assume there won't be nearly as much kill trading. Halo is a game where team work helps. And shotguns are shotguns. If you aren't right in front of someone they won't kill. It has a good amount of weapons and the maps are amazing. Would search some videos of it on youtube to decide. Its a good game. Not so much halo 4 but the rest of them. You will also have access to halo 5 beta. The beta will be a year before the release of halo 5 so there will be changes. Certain maps have vehicles and they are well balanced. If you don't have a weapon to beat a tank. Hop aboard it and melee it to death. Just got to get close. Its a good game. More old school fps not as fast paced. You should try it though. The ranking system will be halo 2. It will match you to players of similar skill. The skilled players will face the other skilled players. I assume this is the way it's being done. Correct me if I'm wrong.

2 답변Halo was one of the best games of the last decade. So was H2. So was H3. I had a lot of fun with ODST and never really got into Reach. MCC will be worth the money. The trilogy had a great story (IMO) and the multiplayer was fun. Just remember to keep an eye on the timer for the power weapons and get a solid BR shot.

3 답변If you like competitive, balanced, arena shooters that have both ranked and social playlists for PvP, you'll friggin love it. If you enjoy an immersive, character driven and emotional campaign, you can't go wrong with MCC.
