Edit: I want to make it very clear that there is a fine line between negative feedback/constructive criticism and downright hateful, abusive and disrespectful comments towards Bungie/Deej. If you fall into the second category, this is directed at you. If not, then I'm right there with you.
I actually feel sorry for Deej. He's in a position where he has to act in an extremely professional manner to an extremely unprofessional portion of community.
A position where anything and everything he says can and will be used against him. A position where every word is being twisted and interpreted in all sorts of different ways, scrutinised to every extent.
He can only sit back and watch as the players he's trying to help are rallying against him, yelling "Liar!" And "Traitor" Powerless to retaliate.
He's in a battle he cannot win. Such a painful irony that the Bungie employee with the biggest voice to the community is the least heard.. I can only imagine what he's really feeling, what he'd really like to say.
But I'm going to take this opportunity to speak for him. Scrutinise me. Report me. Ban me. I couldn't care less.
-blam- each and every single one of you little whiny brats. You need to grow up and realise DeeJ is not the enemy, he doesn't have the power to fix the game in an instant, and he's not responsible for what the Devs do or don't do with their own game! It's impossible to please everyone in terms of what should and shouldn't be changed, and while your opinions matter don't expect the feedback from a 12 year old to influence major game changes.
You also can't expect Bungie to fix server issues in an instant. It just doesn't work like that, the majority of you have no idea how these sort of things work, how complex it is, but it is extremely evident that THEY ARE WORKING ON IT.
Then you all biitch oh but they promised this they promised that... What you need to understand is that Bungie only has limited labour resources to distribute, and therefore they need to prioritise their work load accordingly. What's more important? Spending hours testing and adjusting the thorn or fixing crucial server issues preventing a multitude of players from even logging in?
On the behalf of Deej, grow the -blam- up, bogans of the Destiny community.
Placeholder for my response to idiots:
Thats a fair point, I respect your opinion.
3 답변I understand what your intent was in this post, but it falls short of what you intended. When trying to defend a public figure, such as DeeJ you must understand that it is his job to do this, yes he will from time to time receive blame unjustly but that comes with the job. He is the outward facing figure, and has a target painted on his back, but that doesn't mean he can't handle the punishment. That being said, retaliating against the sort of people that would attack DeeJ, then telling them to grow up means you haven't taken a look at yourself. Both acts are childish and the same criticism could be slightly altered and just as validly fired back at you. Although you may feel you have a moral high ground, I believe you should do your own growing up and realize you don't have much to stand on.

7 답변I must have a different version of the game because I have no gripes with the game nor bungie. I think I have had more than enough value for my money and find it honourable that bungie are active in making improvements and opening themselves up to the community. What ever happened to respect, seriously some comments I have read are shameful.

I appreciate this post. Why would DeeJ do a name-calling whiner any favors by passing on their complains? He's our voice to the devs and he deserves more respect. There is a right and a wrong way to give feedback. At the end of the day, we're all playing the same game and that's all it is. I care about this game but if the game's lost potential is too infuriating to you, then maybe you should rethink your priorities.

1 답변I think all you whiners should shut up. He is in a hard position. PLUS he has a limited sized team working on it. Keep in mind "The Dark Below is only the first of 3 expansions. Go ahead Report Ban or whatever you want to do. You need to understand how coding works. OR you can sit there and be one of the biggest jackasses of time. Yes i get frustrated with this stuff to. BUT I understand unlike all of you fools. Deej seriously deserves far more credit than all this bullshit. Not to mention PSN paid for the expansions it makes sense that they get it before Microsoft does. Deej if you see this, know there are the few who are not a part of the foolish side of the community. Thanks for all the hard work.

To be played and if you are playing it then they have successfully made the right game. Now every game has their faults I complain about this game just like all of you, but hey I still play it and have a great time with it. So....just calm down and have fun /)

The problem is plenty of people don't have respect for others and it shows in how they comment. They hide behind anonymity and talk all this smack when in reality if any Bungie developer or DeeJ, for that matter, was around them, all that big time talk would cease to exist as their eyes light up with glee. They would be enamored; the big bad wolf would become a die hard fanboy in the instant. It's fake. It's phoney. It's tough guy talk from a keyboard because they have no line of repercussion for their actions. It's them not learning how to properly construct their arguments.
