On behalf on Deej, Grow up!
Edit: I want to make it very clear that there is a fine line between negative feedback/constructive criticism and downright hateful, abusive and disrespectful comments towards Bungie/Deej. If you fall into the second category, this is directed at you. If not, then I'm right there with you.
I actually feel sorry for Deej. He's in a position where he has to act in an extremely professional manner to an extremely unprofessional portion of community.
A position where anything and everything he says can and will be used against him. A position where every word is being twisted and interpreted in all sorts of different ways, scrutinised to every extent.
He can only sit back and watch as the players he's trying to help are rallying against him, yelling "Liar!" And "Traitor" Powerless to retaliate.
He's in a battle he cannot win. Such a painful irony that the Bungie employee with the biggest voice to the community is the least heard.. I can only imagine what he's really feeling, what he'd really like to say.
But I'm going to take this opportunity to speak for him. Scrutinise me. Report me. Ban me. I couldn't care less.
-blam- each and every single one of you little whiny brats. You need to grow up and realise DeeJ is not the enemy, he doesn't have the power to fix the game in an instant, and he's not responsible for what the Devs do or don't do with their own game! It's impossible to please everyone in terms of what should and shouldn't be changed, and while your opinions matter don't expect the feedback from a 12 year old to influence major game changes.
You also can't expect Bungie to fix server issues in an instant. It just doesn't work like that, the majority of you have no idea how these sort of things work, how complex it is, but it is extremely evident that THEY ARE WORKING ON IT.
Then you all biitch oh but they promised this they promised that... What you need to understand is that Bungie only has limited labour resources to distribute, and therefore they need to prioritise their work load accordingly. What's more important? Spending hours testing and adjusting the thorn or fixing crucial server issues preventing a multitude of players from even logging in?
On the behalf of Deej, grow the -blam- up, bogans of the Destiny community.

2 답변Remember when Capcom had Disk Locked Content? The gaming community had an uproar. But when Bungie does it, it's okay? No -blam!- that. When a game comes out, it needs to be 100% complete. MMO's have more wiggle room, but Destiny isn't that. Paying for 5 more bounty slots? Really? This game needed to be 100% complete, not 40% Bungie is seeing how far they can bend you guys over, and you're LETTING them. Defenders of an incomplete game, for $60 is an idiot. You'd feel pretty stupid defending a book that was only a chapter long.

2 답변Apparently, they were able to fix "project progression" issues in an instant. You actually quite simply make it sound like they have almost completely misplaced their priorities, and I agree with that point. People are upset that "the hardest boss in the game" drop is powerful, or that slow-charging guns do a lot of damage, or that a gun terrible at range is dangerous up close- well, that's balance. Balance is 6 of one, a half dozen of another. Get fire rate at an accuracy/damage penalty, get good stuff for beating the hardest boss, do strong damage with guns that have slow fire rate and small mags. Sacrifice range for more accurate high-damage close-up. Balance is "I could use this, or that- either works. I could hang back a ways or rush in".

3 답변Although I agree with you, I don't think telling every person that has a differing opinion that they are idiots is the right way to show you're level headed.... To have a civilized discussion we should be open to both sides. Most times a little of both sides is right, I love destiny but the things they promised in the beginning are not all here, I'm happy with it but they could have been more clear about the master plan if you will, what do you think fellow respectable citizens!?

19 답변Working on it? Yeah, last game I paid $60 for was released on the PS3. Then that company decided to make a PS4 version and I bought that for $40. It was complete. I wasn't coerced or lied to. They told me what I was getting and I was so pleased I bought it again on my new system. With some of the -blam!-ing game experience giants they have released over the ten years, there is no excuse. They are milking DLC to increase the prices of games. Yes, budgets have gone up. Because we -blam!-ing well pay their bills. You idiot. You are exactly the reason this whole thing is about to collapse. 1 Gaming industries, like movie producers, will take less risks in creating NEW ideas because they only care about getting more $$$$ as opposed to maintaining consistent consumers 2 Gamers, are loyal when they are not taken advantage of. The AVERAGE gamer is an adult, he is smart and he sees right through corporate bullshit. 3 If a class action lawsuit is going to happen, it will be about DLC and the consumers will win. At the very least, forced to DECLARE up front, that if we are only paying for $60 of a $140 story, we know BEFORE we invest our cash. For example... "PLEASE NOTE - This disk only contains 60% of future content. The rest MUST be purchased at a later date in order to experience the FULL product." I hope it happens soon. Because $140 game is -blam!-ing ridiculous. Season passes... Chapters... Maps. Bull shiit.

2 답변It's funny how everyone thinks they are somehow owed some absolutely perfect game right off the bat because they bought it for $60. Let me tell you something, your $60 entitles you to nothing but a license to play the game they provide, your lucky they are even providing updates/patches weekly for a non-subscription game.

This is perhaps the best thread I've been in today. Thank you for showing me these forums have hope. I am somewhat sick of seeing entitled brats using their PowerZone 2000s to try to formulate a logical (lol) thread about something being wrong or something incorrect and has nothing to do with Destiny. Shit happens. Patience is a virtue. On that note, I couldn't give two shits about the issues other people have. Game's only been out 2 months, it's [b]still[/b] too early to conclude if this game is going to be a flop, which I highly doubt it. November cannot come soon enough because when it happens, the forums will be - for the most part - purged of stupidity and ignorance and I will rejoice at the threads that make use of proper tagging to discuss game issues/strategies/teams/suggestions. People say the game is dying, but it's simply too soon to even consider a possibility, and that's not even considering the Chistmas noobs (I use noobs in the best way I can here) that will purchase Destiny, revitalizing it, if the DLC has not already done so. Here's what I think: People are playing this game with the mindset that they're playing COD. When they find something powerful, and - if legitimately a concern - it will get nerfed. For the most part, balance issues are often mistaken for - as I'd like to call it - coincidental situational firefights. Players often finding themselves in a spot where the weapon in question will dominate. This is why Snipers are deadly on the moon; it's the perfect spot for it. People need to really analyze issues through many different angles, but it doesn't happen. What happens instead is, issues are seen with a narrow-minded viewpoint shared by the majority and to silence them/appease them, changes - usually bad changes (random teleporting) - happen. But meh. Things won't change here I think.

3 답변I've listened to a few interviews with deej, and always respected his way of answering things. Him and Phil Spencer are great people to listen to deal with heated questions. But straight from the source he says he doesn't need some one to try and stick up for them. They're listening and learning, they have thick skins. Although his job isn't easy, he knew what it was about when he took it. Lastly, I agree that as a community, there's a lot of negative reactive behavior. People are reacting to things they don't like, often in exaggerated ways. But if the intent of your message is to create a more harmonious environment for voicing frustration, I think it's worth considering a different way to say it. Otherwise saying "f you big babies" is probably going to get the opposite reaction. An early stage to conflict resolution is showing you have understand the complaint. Otherwise when someone is told to shut up, over valid complaints (whether voiced thoughtfully or not) it only makes that person angrier.

1 답변Exactly. Normally people pay around 100$ a month for shitty cable and yet they just let that happen. While bungie tries their best to listen and implement things on their game (not yours) to better suit out needs.

1 답변Apparently this is the first gaming forum you've ever been a part of. Every community is like this to some extent when a new game releases. DeeJ knew exactly what he was getting into when he took the job. So, yes, you can hope people will start becoming more polite. But I don't think you necessarily need to defend DeeJ by feeling sorry for him. It's just an inevitable part of his job, and he knows that.
