Many may know this, but for any that don't, if you have the bounty up to the point where you need 200 fusion rifle kills in nightfall, here's some suggestions to make it much easier on this week's nightfall (Summoning Pits). 1) Enter nightfall from orbit but do not enter summoning pits strike area. Instead, go over to the area with the giant door that you enter in the story mission where you find the dead guardian and the chained door comes open and hive pour out. (The Dark Beyond). Enter and continue through the entire room/tunnel system until you come out the other end. Then go to orbit, launch nightfall again and repeat. 2) The hive here are all lvl 28 and very dangerous, but also weak to arc damage just like in the actual strike. So use an arc fusion rifle if at all possible. 3) Buy at least a few special weapon synthesis before you start, as you'll need them. Consider some heavy ammo as well for wizards, as they are annoying here and will slow progress. 4) If you have the Icebreaker, you can swap it out with your fusion to keep a steady supply of ammo. 5) Do not fear dying. In this area, you will respawn fast and without going to orbit, usually just yards from where you died. This alone makes this a very fast method.
