Before you officially decide hear me out. I'm not saying nerf the gun to be a 2 shot kill. That might eliminate it's purpose. But the charge time or amount of ammo you have access to or SOMETHING needs to change.
The vex is a fusion rifle which apparently needed a nerf because it had no charge time and a 3-4 shot kill.
The regular 1 shot kill fusion rifles, have nearly the same kill time if not faster.
So we nerfed the hardest fusion rifle to get and allowed the easier ones to get to maintain nearly enough power to be equivalent to a golden gun with a reticle the size of half the screen.
Either lessen the ammo available, increase the charge time, increase the damage drop off over range, or reduce the damage
If you want to talk balance we can jump straight into kill times and this thing is just not balanced in anyway shape or form.
One could literally use a 1 shot kill fusion rifle an entire game and probably have a higher kd than most people.
So, I'm asking for more people to pick up sniper rifles. If you want that kinda power legitimately, get your headshots on point.
I'm not even worried about shotguns. Been in bungie games since day 1 and they always work the same. The range on them is irrelevant because if you know the kid is trying to shotgun you he needs to get close and that's probably the biggest disadvantage in any fire fight ever. The fusion rifle hits mid range 1 shot kills easy. A shotgun would need 2 or 3 minimum at the close to mid range area while the player is walking towards you. Fusion rifle is 1 shot mid range and run away.
Just don't think a 1 shot kill in your pocket at all times as a special weapon with unlimited ammo is exactly "balanced"
Edit**
I don't need pvp advice lol
Edit ***
If it fires 6 shots per round why does it only use 1 bullet from the ammo capacity ?

2 답변Snipers are a 1 shot kill at long range. Shotguns are a 1 shot kill at close range. Are fusion rifles being a 1 shot kill at medium range really that much of a problem?

No need needed. It's got a charge time and small magazine size. It has it's limiting factors. Comparing it to the vex (PvP) is rediculous. It's the sun to the moon. It wasn't balanced. It was all benefit with no negatives. I don't think they've solved the issue with the vex, only alienated the PvE people. They could have done something differently but took the lazy way out.

8 답변Ok for people who whine about nerfs against fusion rifles here is the trick to stop dying from them. STOP CHARGING STRAIGHT AT US WITH YOUR SHOTTY SLIDE/SHOULDER CHARGE and you'll be fine, try strafing for once in you're life and you'll see how ineffective fusion rifles can be. Most fusion rifles that are one shot usually take a while to charge, unless they have accelerated coils. The ones that already have a fast charge rate usually dont one shot unless in shotty range in which case you might as well use a shotty. If we dont kill you with the first charge burst were basically fuked unless you're the worst shot in the world. And people seriously stop fuking asking for nerfs, this is destiny not destinedtobenerfed for crying out loud.

It requires skill to use: there is charge time and it fires shots in two bursts; both of which must hit the target at a fair range. If you miss half the shot firing on somebody they have plenty of time to turn and kill you before you can fire off the next round, even with the faster charging ones. Also, PvP doesn't need to nerf any more of our PvE guns. Shotguns still obviously outnumber Fusion Rifles in the crucible. They shouldn't need any adjusting unless the Fusion Rifle usage starts to heavily outweigh the usage of other special weapons, and then only for PvP.

Well certainly imo the OHK range is a tad much. On Blind Watch a guy sitting in C was able to one-shot me as I looked down from the (2nd floor) window. I honestly don't use it that much because I just expect it to get nerfed ha.

1 답변작성자: Mike-MF-Hall 10/19/2014 5:57:00 PMFusion rifles are fine. They have for sure exploitable weaknesses. 1. The charge time, and the sound it makes while being charged. This means you can't just whip it out and kill in a pinch. This also means people should hear you coming around a corner giving them time to get out of OHK range. Or if you are headed into cqc and you hear the charge, you should back off or wait for help 2. Range. 1v1 you shouldn't lose to a fusion at mid range. Move around enough to get just one of the bolts to miss and you should win even if he had the drop on you 3. Rate of Fire. If the fusion misses a shot or he has to fight multiple targets he dies Most people who get killed repeatedly by fusion rifles are ignoring the charge warning, diving head first into CQC with a shotgun, or are titans selling out for a shoulder charge Its like trying to fight a sniper with an auto rifle from across the map Ignore the warning. Play at the wrong range. Die

14 답변It doesn't need a nerf, special ammo is the issue. I can play control and use a sniper and just sit the entire match in one spot next the ammo bin for special ammo on bastions for example And Not even needing head shots. Special ammo is the biggest reason for a lot of unbalance in the crucible. Its the prime reason ARs were designed too good from the start as well. You played bungies halos so you know what I mean. If an AR was to be used as a close range weapon and limited to that without precision damage, it would be a completely worthless gun in Destiny because of the abundance of shotties and fusions taking up that role. A power weapon is a power weapon. It's just over the top when the power weapon becomes your new primary basically. Bungies already seen feedback on special ammo since the alpha though....its never been addressed...at least I don't think so. As far as charge times and range....some perks do allow for range to be enhanced while ads and high impact low charge rates pretty beast on the maps where everyone's huddled up in the same area like fire base Delphi. So I'm with you on the special ammo issue, but nerf....idk maybe you can persuade me.

4 답변작성자: peskyibex 10/19/2014 5:13:52 PMFusion rifles do not need a nerf. There is a big risk when it comes to using one; if you miss that first shot in a direct fight, you're likely dead. In the hands of a skilled player they can be quite annoying, but not impossible. The same can be said for the other special weapons. There are many ways to one-shot kill people in multiplayer. Embrace it instead of trying to nerf it.

5 답변Let me give you a tip. Stop standing still with your sniper and you won't get one shotted by fusion rifles all the time. If your running right at someone or standing still against a guy with a fusion rifle he will most likely one shot you from close to medium range.
-
2 답변lmao I can't believe people are voting no on this. They are OP. You can get the drop on somebody and they will still win the gunfight with one. People say the charge time balances it out but anyone who isn't an idiot will charge it before they go around any corner. They are so easy to use and will beat almost anything close quarters to mid-range.

1 답변The weapons do not need a "nerf", but I think the ammount of special ammo available needs to be "adjusted"
