People not earning their exotics. (Xur)
It's not fair that people don't have to earn their exotics! I mean I did my time, I saved my coins, and bought Suros weeks ago from Xur. Then my buddy just gets one handed to him at random? How is that fair?!?!

I never earned that exotic, Xûr earned the exotics and then I came in like that bare handed theif with strange coins that I actually earned to buy these pee colored items. Shoot me down Destiny community, I bought my helm from Xur. Inb4 I'm assasinated by some bungie worshipping fool

3 답변You realize that, because of the completely random nature of the drops and multiplayer loot, getting something those ways is not EARNING jack. It's simply a matter of luck. If anything, randomly getting a set number of Strange Coins is more of a grind with at least a single payout.

2 답변People had to work for the coins as well as you worked for the gear. Both methods require work, one is just a selected exotic while the other is random

Anyway, all exotics should be available only via exotic bounties that you could buy for... lets say 3 mots of light. Then you could actually tell that you earned it.

15 답변Random = not earnt! Items purchased from Xur can be earnt (weekly/daily strikes) or random. If you completed the weekly strikes and got your 9 coins, that is earning! Is it not? You played a strike fully aware that if you succeed you would be rewarded with a reward... Being coins! So if you got your coins through strikes only and buy from Xur, is say you definitely earnt your exotic gear.

7 답변There is no earning of gear in this game at all, and while I don't agree with the current implementation of Xur (just selling them outright is a bad idea), don't kid yourself that the rest of the game has you earning exotic weapons. What Xur should do: Sell bounties for exotic weapons, and so you can actually earn that Ice Breaker or Last Word that you have been trying to get. These bounties would have a slight randomness done to them, but would still be difficult, for example: The bounty would have 3 phases to be able to finish it: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie (using the phonetics of A, B, C, just due to it working better for text). Alpha would be the first part of the bounty you would complete, Brave the second, and then Charlie the third. Alpha's bounty would be chosen from a random pool of easy (by comparison to the other two) tasks for the player to do. Bravo would be choose from a more difficult pool, and then Charlie would be extremely difficult. These shouldn't be things like "Kill 50,000 Guardians in PvP" (at worst, maybe 500), but more like "Finish the Weekly Strike on the hardest difficult by yourself" or others that wouldn't be time consuming, but more challenging (weekly is typically more difficult than the nightfall).

I hope they put in micro transactions so I can pay 100 bucks get all the "exotic" weapons in the game in one afternoon, and just quit hearing your lot say the word "earn". I earned my money. Are you going to deny that I earned my theoretical micro transacted fake Internet video game bits the real hard way? Who cares. Ive had many exotic in the game besides thorn and Atheons AR. I could get thorn too on the bounty that came up.... but I deleted it because thorn sucks.... just like I've deleted most of my exotics except for the few that have been left alone by the crybabies. Suros... deleted (due to nerf) Bad JuJu... deleted (due to sucks) Prayedeaths Rev (very close to deleting) Icebreaker (deleted) Red Death (deleted due to sucks) Universal Remote (deleted due to sucks) Almost all of these except for Suros were random things. So moral of the story: Random = Not possible to "earn" Annnmddd you aren't missing anything by not getting or getting exotics anyways.

2 답변Seriously, stop bitching. The game runs on RNG for loot drops, some people are just lucky. Regardless of how you get it either via crucible drop (unless you're that guy who goes 0/14), engram drop, mission reward, or saving for xur you've earned your exotic. It wasn't just given to him for the hell of it, it was random and he clearly did something that he was rewarded for to have received it. Just cause he didn't get it the same way you did doesn't mean he didn't earn it.

작성자: Guardian7293 10/18/2014 7:58:25 AMIf Xur didn't exist, the only exotic I would have right now would be Patience and Time. And Patience and Time was a drop from a chest in VoG. And my play time is around 10 days+ with all of my characters combined. As there are people with extremely good luck, there are people with opposite experience having seriously bad luck. Xur is needed for those people. Edited: I forgot to mention Vex, so I guess thats two.
