EDIT: I am in no way saying your exotics are less valid or more valid than anyone else's. This post is simply a comment on those who are crying out for the removal of Xur from the game.
EDIT 2: Read the damn post before you reply. Some nincompoops are just posting the most idiotic comments, clearly not having read the post. It's sad that it's 2014, and the world has more information than ever at its fingertips, yet I get responses to this that are so incredibly ignorant of everything I've written here, yet still want to add their drivel.
EDIT 3: Deleted, because this community is full of people that can't have a civil chat. Less than a dozen cogent, adult responses out of about 500 replies. Nice job.

1 답변in the few weeks i played destiny, i have never seen someone get an exotic that actually earned and deserved it

3 답변Nobody earns anything in a RNG based game though. I've put in more time than most people I know in VOG, yet still have not gotten vex gun. I've put in more "finger work" yet not the same amount of fruit as them, not that I care anymore at this point. It's just an example of how work does not equal fruit in this game. Equality for all I guess.

작성자: Gambit1969 10/12/2014 11:39:09 AMHere is one for the people crying saying they earned their exotics and buying them is cheap, i was playing the Tiger strike list last night with two friends, after a few games we headed back to the tower to cash out all the blue engrams we had and i get a Hawkmoon Exotic hand cannon from one of them, nice right? So we head back to the strike list to play some more and the very next game when the endgame rewards screen comes up i get awarded, you guessed it, another Hawkmoon. Is this really earning?, is it somehow worth more than a purchased item? No its just the RNG at work.

6 답변Here's a couple more analogies. Someone plays the game for weeks and earns enough strange coins to buy Ice breaker. Someone kills a lvl 2 shank patrolling the consmodrome, gets a legendary engram that turns into Ice Breaker. So who actually earned Ice Breaker? The answer is......... No one. It's a game. Who cares.

1 답변3 hours before reset I had only 11 coins. I thought man I can't get the ice breaker, I Worked and Played the game to get engrams from the vanguard tiger playlist (2-4 decoherant engrams/ run) and by 10 minutes before xur disappeared I finally got my 17th coin, so yeah I feel satisfied that I EARNED my ice breaker this week, as well as my invective, bad juju, suros. However I have gotten exotic randomly once from nightfall and once from a legendary engram (before patch). So this was Exciting, but really no WORK went into it. However my helmets I bought from xur I feel content with. Working for exotics for my personally is more satisfying, but there is a reason both methods exist. I just prefer one more than the other.

lets see, I've been through the vault of glass 3 times now, I admit, haven't beaten the final boss, but gotten all the chests and drops before him, and I have gotten exactly one legendary sniper, 2 cloaks, and a bunch of shards and energy, I've done everything else the game has to offer and got The Last Word through a drop. I've done every exotic bounty, and bought icebreaker, some engrams, and a couple pieces of armor from xur. To be honest, off all the stuff I have, I feel I've earned the exotics I got from bounties, and the legendaires and exotics I've bought, cause I worked to get those coins, those marks, and I picked out what I wanted and gotten those. The Last Word, that was a gift, the other legendaries I got from drops, gifts, the auto rifle I got for making vangaurd rank 3, I earned that. Honestly, if you got it randomly, I'd consider that a gift, except the stuff in vault of glass, honestly, thats a bit luck, and a decent amount of work.

2 답변Everything you do in DESTINY IS EARNED! One way or another you are putting in the time to earn the coins in order to obtain those items. Sick of reading all the BS people post about earning your gear.. It's getting to be rediculous. You cant used REAL MONEY.. Therefore the time you put in and rewards you get are EARNED!

2 답변작성자: Gunship 10/12/2014 6:14:17 AMThat's it little gamers, keep fighting over who did or didn't earnn this or that 'exotic' thingie, maybe then no one will notice the complete lack of gear available. muahahaha haha ha

1 답변In this game you don't earn anything you get, it's random drop, xur or in game drops. It does take time to "earn" 17 coins.

Xur is the balance this game needs for people who don't get lucky with the RNG. I have not bought any weapons from him yet, but I have 6 exotics including the famous Suros Regime, and Ghallorhorn which he sold. My best friend has both of these guns too but his are bought from Xur because his luck with the RNG is horrible! Lol he's never gotten a legendary sniper rifle and had to buy his while I got two and patience and time from the RNG. So among my group of friends we all agree the Xur offers balance between us blessed by the RNG and those cursed by it.

People really should stop making these posts about earning and winning in lottery. Just accept the fact that the game is as it is now and getting good gear is an option to everyone now. You lot should be gratefull of this because it just makes your own gameplay so much easier when people around you and in same strikes are well geared.

4 답변I "earned" my Vex Mythoclasts after 4 hard raids. My mate "earned" his Vex Mythoclast on his first. However, the rest of my mates haven't "earned" their Vex Mythoclasts yet after 6 hard raids.
