It's sad that it's 2014, and the world has more information than ever at its fingertips, yet I get responses to this that are so incredibly ignorant of everything I've written here, yet still want to add their drivel.

1 답변Personally I don't care if everyone has Suros or icebreaker etc. I didn't buy them though I have more than enough coins. He just makes exotics way too easy to get and spoils the fun out of the game. A lot of the fun of these types of games is trying to get rare and powerful gear. I foresee people looking in their inventory in the too near future, seeing all yellow, and asking themselves "Now what?" If I had bought sunbreakers when they were available (those 3 weeks) that would've left me with only 2 exotic warlock pieces to get and I never did the loot cave, and have only done the raid and nightfall twice. The problem is exotics aren't "exotic" at all. Also on a side note the pure RNG thing is messed up as well, there should be at least some requirements. I just don't think killing a level 2 shank or getting 0.1 KD with 200 points in crucible should be able to net you an exotic let alone a legendary engram.

I agree and disagree at the same time.yes I believe earning is more satisafiying or getting the lucky is drop is nice.but when I buy from Xur,i busted my butt "earning" the currency to buy what I want.so in a way,i did actually "earn" it.

Literal definition of earn nowadays is to make money, but exchanging ones time for goods was the origin of this word from 900 a.d. When it related to harvest time and peasants earned either part of the harvest or other goods in exchange for work. In Destiny strange coins are one form of money, motes and marks are others. Get an exotic bounty, work for it through a series of challenges, you earned it. Do tasks through the game, earn strange coins, motes, marks. Buy something. You earned it. Do tasks through a game, you get randomly rewarded an engram that turns into an exotic, you earned it by the grace of the engram gods. Paid money or traded something of value to get this game, you earned it. IMHO

What I don't get is why are people so upset about how someone got their gear...its pixels on your screen. Are you seriously telling me that you're butthurt over pixels???

With RNG you dont earn anything. Luck favored you in which you could get lucky and get something in a few minutes .To me "Earning" would be Running Raids and Dungeons over and over with hopes of get that weapon or armor that you wanted. Like WoW for instance.. You know this particular Boss drops what you want.. You earn it simply by "Farming" for it. Then off to the next instance. Now you do your weekly and play enough to have your Coins that your Earned. Xurr comes along and has something that you would like to have at a cost of said coins that you earned... seems pretty legit to me.. My Brother got his Ice Breaker after failing miserably in the Crucible.. he didnt earn it.. he got lucky lol

I didn't earn red death I lucked up (read Win the lottery) I earned strange coins to go towards ice breaker did bounties for others I totally get This post. I feel the same but rng is rng I played since release or in about 50 hours and not a Monte Carlo to my name rng is just numbers picked out a bag of 1 to 5 basically cryptarc before fix with his legendary Engrams.

7 답변Part of the thrill of obtaining an exotic is that they're ultra rare ( or that's what we were lead to believe ). When you equip it, it makes you unique. You've got a gun that very few people have, and you're proud to show it off. So when Friday comes and EVERYONE has the weapon you had farmed hard for, isn't it understandable to be a bit stingy? This game has nearly no customization outside of gear, and even that is lessened when any casual player can pick it up for a ( imo ) ridiculously low price. I love my skull of dire ahamkara, because it's different. I'm just hoping it isn't at the welfare vendor next week.

4 답변Exactly this, earned my ice breaker and I'm proud to say I got it from Xur, though I didn't earn as much as other people cause I had someone help me with the lvl 28 weekly.
