It's sad that it's 2014, and the world has more information than ever at its fingertips, yet I get responses to this that are so incredibly ignorant of everything I've written here, yet still want to add their drivel.

3 답변how did you EARN your thorn when obtaining the bounty is complely random ? does that not contradict your entire argument ? i have the thorn and it was by complete luck i got the bounty , yes there are a number of missions to get it but did i EARN the bounty ? NO. It was as random as the drops you are referring to. my point is no matter how you obtain your items / weapons in destiny everything is earnt one way or another.

The way U see it, random drops are the least "earned" of exotics. You did a crucible match or whatever and got lucky. Followed by the ones you buy from Xur. You had to either work hard or farm a lot of drops to get the currency to buy from him, so you did some earning. Bounties are the most earned. Had to do bounties to get the chance at the exotic bounty THEN you had to do work after getting the bounty. So thats work, then luck, then work again.

I consider it a fail safe, just in case RNGsus hates you. I'm on that list. I have invective from a bounty and 2 Titan helmets and icebreaker from xur. Nothing fell into my lap and I've put in work for sure. Level 29 Titan w/ raid gear. Don't tell me I didn't earn every strange coin through weekly heroic strikes.

As to xur bothering you guys, don't lose sleep over it fellas it's a video game remember. Why your so worried about others I have no clue, I could care less. Edit: and with another read of the OP I realize I'm a idiot, disregard that.

5 답변Felt the same way with my raid Suros Regime until Xur had it. Then I changed my tone. I don't mind that people can buy off of Xur - I think it's a nice crutch to have for those people that aren't able to put in the ridiculous hours in the game to sway RNG in their favor. That, and considering that the Vex is the only exotic that has a way of actually acquiring it, means that there's no such thing as "earning" exotics

2 답변Your analogy is bad because the people who bought the lottery ticket worked for the money to buy it. So, they earned the lottery ticket and anything that comes from buying it. Same goes for people who spend their time playing event after event and eventually get something from doing that. That said, it's stupid to say that either side earned something and the other didn't. The people who farm coins earned whatever they bought from Xur. This argument is stupid because anyone saying they earned something that someone else didn't is being asinine. It's just a damn game.

All gear is earned, except for RNG loot, which does include many Exotics that people have....... The simple solution to this whole argument, besides for everyone to stop complaining about it, is to make Xur sell Exotic Bounties, instead of Exotics outright.

4 답변At first I wasn't a fan of xur expecially when I saw he had icebreaker ( a gun I was waiting to drop), and didn't want to see thousands of gaurdians running around with that beauty on there back in every stike/match I went into. With this said I was about 5 coins short at the beginning of the weekend. I did over 50 stikes, 20 iron banner match and spent about 10 hours leveling up my alt for those coins. literally with one minute till xur left I got my last coin. I have never felt like have earned anything as much as this gun in destiny before!

4 답변you don't earn anything in destiny for hard work, it's all luck based and what you saying makes no sense, according to you buying things with the strange coins I get without even trying is me earning it but for me to go out and do missions and farm hoping for a good drop isn't earning it? lol that makes sense
