I'm not fussed that I cannot see the difference between blue and purple engrams. My biggest issue is the radar and the sniper scope recticle why wouldn't you have some sort of option to change the colour of these? It has been brought up before too but I struggle to see enemies approaching until it's too late and sniping is an issue too on PvE never mind PvP having to move over something to pick up where the reticle is. I really hope this is something which is getting looked at is this is becoming more and more of a downside to playing destiny. A lot of other games allow assistance for clour blind players.
