Dear bungie, I love the beautiful, rich environments that you have created. I send a lot of time exploring, yesterday I explored for hours looking for dead ghosts. I enjoy finding those nooks and crannies that can only be described as developers caves, those little areas off the beaten track that someone has taken time to create a little area of wonder (most without rewards in). Now to the negative, as I said I love exploring, half the wonder is what possibilities these areas could have for the future of Destiny. I keep away from guides and walkthroughs and avoid posts that give away future content, I want to experience this as it happens, to feel the immersion without knowing whats coming. Yesterday while exploring the cosmodrome looking for ghosts I came across something that caught my attention. While looking round a crashed seed ship I noticed it opened into a corridor, exploring further I was met with a blockage but not before seeing an area name I hadn't seen before pop up, Jovian Complex. I thought I'd take a look round the other side of the building, jumping a fence on the left of the building. Here I came across an ordinary loot chest and remembered my need for spinmetal,(luckily forgetting momentarily about what I'd found). Playing today I noticed the tharls in the area have the same stripes as the dlc picture (could be wrong but only ones I've noticed) thinking I'd made some vague link I told a friend about my theory the new area name and the picture connection. This was met with warnings from my friend that I could be banned for entering these areas. So I took to the forums, as I've said not something I like to do, only to find that people breaking into dlc areas are getting banned. Now my conundrum I don't want to look online as to how to do this so as to avoid exploring the wrong place, as it would give away the dlc content. However I now find myself or more so my destiny experience being ruined by the fact that I'm concerned with exploring in case I accidentally enter an area I'm not allowed to be in (and banned). There was no warning signs or turn back splash when I found said corridor, and won't even go into paying for dlc that is already there to some degree. Fix this please with some sort of warning, I couldn't count the number of times I've got myself stuck in some crevice or vex structure (especially in the black garden) looking for collectibles or just exploring. I don't want to get banned for exploring this world you've created for us.
