Is anything going to be done about them? I just did a strike to kill whatshisname on Earth. It was me and another guy with one dude just sitting in the back doing nothing.
We wiped once and when he spawned next to us he just ran to safety, so I know he was there.
This is the 4th time someone has been doing this today.

8 답변I haven't run into too many AFKers. But I've run into griefers(?) I guess it's griefers. I was on a strike on the weekend where the other two members kept dancing around me, jumping off cliffs and all manner of general douchebaggery. It even took me a little bit to realise that they weren't even helping. Not until they just danced around my ghost until i could respawn. So then I just stood there looking at them and they tried to push me off a cliff. I don't really know why they would be that way, what's the point? Also I didn't realise you could report people so I'll do that next time.

1 답변Bungie could fix this by simply removing the bounty where you complete a strike without dying

People are -blam!-ing garbage sometimes...it hurts the gaming community as a whole. If you're afk during a strike why even play the rest of the game it makes no sense...the strikes may be boring and all but hey once you're done with everything else what do you do. I feel like if you're not going to play then just hop on a different game and enjoy that for awhile then come back or don't idgaf

That happened to me the other day except both of the other team members afk'd on me (or spent time farming the starting area...) So I beat the first boss and then they both ran up and moved on with the strike. At which point I decided it would be a good time to go farm the starting area, haha. Somehow, they both managed to die on the second boss and then both quit. I finished the strike by myself and had a funny story to tell my friends. :P

4 답변작성자: veilsix 10/22/2014 9:42:51 PMI did this a couple of nights ago, sort of inadvertently. I was in the middle of a solid Tiger Strike run, when suddenly as I was getting started with a Valus Tauraac strike... my gf got a little hot and bothered and started a sexting session. I kept having to put down the controller to make sure she was taken care of when she started sending and asking for newdies (i.e. the dyach pix). I left the room intending to come right back in a minute, I just didn't want her to see my xbox/destiny in the background when she got my... Tower... pics. It lasted a little longer than intended as stuff kept coming out blurred or with bad lighting, and when I got back I honestly was surprised they were still in the strike, so I busted my butt getting to them to try and help them finish. Literally as I was crossing the final multi-tiered chamber before Valus, they downed him. I paused at the creates between that chamber and the Valus room, and saw the other two fireteam members begin to move my way. Not sure if they were trying to find me, but either way I felt ashamed of what I had done and hid behind crates to keep out of sight... But that was the one and only time.

7 답변작성자: achwassolls 10/22/2014 8:09:04 AMsimply report them with the ingame reporting tool. also: imho that's all because of the "complete a strike without dying" bounty.

4 답변Bungie's too focused on eliminating playable loot caves to focus on a real problem like AFKing. Worse yet, AFKers are being rewarded exotics due to the broken loot system. Priorities. . . Bungie has none.

Summoning Sparrow. And drive sideways to drag them into enemies. Kill them at least once. Report then either leave or finish. If your unlucky and get two afk people I would just leave. No reason for the added difficulty.

1 답변Afk'ers are the people hanging back on atheon, while someone pushes him off. Seeing as the community thought that was ok, why not this? #sarcasm

26 답변A simple kick button would be nice, then you could get rid of both those being stupid that are not needed and those who are just standing still.

Interact with said player by pushing in the right thumbstick(that's what it is One Xbox One) while looking at them Pull up the menu that offers options to invite player to party, inspect player, etc. You will see a report player option. Open that. Report for being unhelpful or one of the other three options. Continue to do this every time you come in contact with these leeches. :)

17 답변This is just my opinion, and don't want to provoke any harsh comments. Give it a couple minutes before you report someone as AFK. I believe I speak for most of, well normal people, we have to use the bathroom, we may have families who need our attention for a few minutes, and we usually come right back and get to playing. I feel it would be fair to give those who stay at spawn, or those in the middle of a strike, who are AFK deserve a couple minutes before being abandoned or reported.

Those afkers usually are there at their TV, but might be playing angry birds or something better than destiny (sarcSm). Going afk is for people lazier than the manufacturers of North Korean warheads.
what warheads
I just leave usually. I'm not going to give them a free bounty. Or if possible I will push them off a cliff at the beginning so they die and forced to do the raid since they can't get the bounty anymore. Which I don't understand why you can't play, it's not really hard to do even a tiger strike without dying...

7 답변작성자: C0ldM0use 10/19/2014 1:07:13 PMI had two standers in the level 24 strike playlist. One stood at start of earth strike the other at least ran to the mesh layers section then crouched on the catwalk behind container and took no part. Just before the end of that section I nudged him out, he died, the start stander got moved up to us and they both helped clear up last few enemies (so I knew they were both partly there). Next to the devil walker... They helped at first but then I noticed only my gun had been shooting for a good while. Yep, they're both hiding in different areas. I get the walker down to minimum health then... It took me ages but I nudged both those -blam!-ers out in to the open where the walker could see them and watched them get killed :) They both quit. I finished the strike. Funniest thing was, two new people joined my strike just as I was about to finish sepiks prime and got what those two douchbags didn't want to work for :) :) :) Edit: starting stander ran to mesh layers when the guy I nudged out died.

I've soloed multiple strikes due to this problem. They should make it where everyone has to be in the same area within a minute of the first otherwise it initiates a kick vote or auto kick. Because if someone is in the shadow area and another is still at the spawn a min later you have an issue
-
I think the issue is bounty related. Either they are just there to not die or just kill a mid boss and leave. To me that's just as irritating. I've been stuck at the final boss simply because they all left after the midway point. I usually stick to friends but jump in to a random group when no one is available. I've also pulled the die at the no respawn point to pull people forward. From there they either quit (because they died) or start shooting. I think a group kick *could* be helpful, but can also be abused. Say two people get all the way to the boss then kick someone right before the end just to troll them. I've had people kick me after a third D/Cd and I took their spot. I went right back in and the third time was able to ask what they were doing. Perhaps a kick option that activates a timer and a warning. vote to kick: Reason AFK. Message pops up and they either move it or lose it.
