Over the past month it seems like break-ins have skyrocketed. This morning two masked men armed with machetes attempted to break into a home a couple miles from me. This one house a few blocks from me has been broken into 3 times in the past year.
Okay, just break-ins, no biggie, I have a shotgun.
Well, what about when I'm out and about? I don't have a handgun, and it's not like the state makes Conceal Carry easier anyway, being California and all. I should be fine, right?
Local night club had a drive by. Three people shot. Soldier shot and killed outside his home in the next town over. Stabbing at the Movie Theater in our mall tonight. Man shot and killed yesterday.
Okay, so I'll just go to the grocery store. Whelp, the one I go to was robbed at gunpoint recently and the suspects are still at large.
Flood, I'm at a loss. What do I do? This shithole has become unsafe to just live in. No clubs because people get shot. People get shot or stabbed at the bars. People get shot outside their homes. People get stabbed going to the movies. Houses are being broken into in ever greater frequency.
All of this is validating my idea that I need to move, and far. But I am broke.
Flood, am I gonna die?

Moving is more scary than expensive. If you are batting an eye over the possibility of forking over 400+ for a gun+ccwl, then you can save enough to move. There are places like craigslist for finding roomates (I've used this personally). You just gotta filter through the garbage, and verify them. All you really need, typically, is first month + a security deposit. If you are moving somewhere, and you don't have to give up your job...even better.

2 답변Get a pit bull. No, seriously. My sister was walking her pit once when some guy came up to her and tried to grab her and throw her in his car. Her dog flew right into him and mawed the shit out of him before he ran away. I wouldn't -blam!- with anyone who has a pit.

2 답변Move if you can. If you can't afford to, save your money and move as soon as possible. If things get too much worse, ask a friend or family member if you can crash at their place for a while. It may be a little rude, but it's better than getting murdered.
