Calling All Gamer Girls!
There is no better feeling than crushing your competition! But crushing your competion as a girl, well thats a different story. Some females are bashed for playing, and some are prasied. How do you feel about it? I believe in gamer girls as a movement, so join the revolution! Make "The Real Gamer Girl" you number one clan, or become a member. To all guys out there, you can join too for the support and remember, your mom is a girl.... What would she say?
In addition to the previous post on this forum, I have to say this. I AM NOT SEPERATING THE SEXES. You may not know this guys, but there are a lot of girls out there who feel they shouldn't play video games because of the hate they might get. Yes, there is a lot of female support, but there is also a lot of hate that really brings girls down. I am trying to create an environment where girls can feel empowered and supported. Forgive me if your to afraid to follow the "The Real Gamer Girl".

There needs to be an option for "I don't care". If girls want to play, fine. If not, I don't care either. The fact that you want people to "support" female gamers is pretty dumb. It's not like without our help they won't play...

You know being a white knight is a form of sexism in a way. Being a white knight implies that a female cannot fend for herself and thus needs a male to do so for her. In a way being a white knight is just as sexist but makes said white knight feel good about himself.

1 답변My best friend is a girlgamer. Or ex-gamer more or less... she enjoyed to play horror games a little too much, but is too busy with studying to really game anymore. She became infamous in CoD for knifing everyone in the GunGame. All the hate was just too funny. My girlfriend is a girlgamer as well. She sadly doesn't have consoles of her own, but Steam works just as well. And she even keeps up with the lore of games she wants to play, so she doesn't have to ask me what what is. So yeah, my opinion is that girls can be just as much of a gamer as guys can be. There are sadly too many gamur gurls out there though. The ones who lick controllers to show off. That's more pathetic than anything. The real gamer is genderless.

Literally, i either see attention whores or girls who complain that they are being bashed... Look women, you aren't being bashed, have you ever watched an intense match with no girls? Do you realize how nice guys are when they talk to you? This whole "they bash us" is utter crap. I don't hear any guy talking about how they -blam!- you, your mom, your sister, your dad, or any other the above in any order while teabagging your corpse. I see guys say this to other guys all the time...You know what i also see all the time from guys to guys? comments like "LEAVE THE GAME YOU DON'T BELONG HERE" or "YOU CAN'T PLAY QUIT" You do realize these comments are just guys being guys...we ridicule each other because that's how we are. Don't like it, stop whining about it an leave. You think we are bashing you just cause we add in comments like "kitchen" and "girl"? It isn't because you are a girl, people target everyone when it comes to bashing... Your comments and other women are basically going "Treat us differently by being nice to us." but also stating "I WANA BE TREATED EQUALLY." Can't have both. Honestly, True gamer girls, they come online and smack talk more than i smack talk...and i smack talk a lot. Because that's just how is. If you can't handle the ridicule stop playing games that contain ridicule. I'm not saying you need to talk shit while playing games, i'm saying if you can't handle the shit talk, stop playing THAT game, go back to legend of zelda or something. I assume this is all online bashing because i have NEVER, NEVER seen a girl in real life bashed for gaming. I either see it glorified, or people don't care. And i have a LOT of friends who are girls who game. tl;dr? Stop with the goddamn FEELS, either take the ridicule like guys do and either mute/don't talk/smack talk back...or play a different game. You don't see guys bitching about how other guys bash us. also...no don't care option? sad.

I think gaming is just as much for girls as it is for guys.... but I do admit that I find the whole "Look at me, I'm a girl who plays videogames!" phenomena quite tedious :/ It shouldn't matter that much... But yet some guys go insane and immediately want to add any girl they see on their friendlist without any hesitation or even getting to know them first and some girls just keep emphasizing it to get attention. I swear I've even seen some that appear to not even enjoy the game they're playing, yet they play because it's what gets them admiration :P And ofcourse I'm not saying that's always the case... :) Just play, guys and girls.

This still matters? I don't care about Gender, I'll take anyone on or ally with anyone, it's just unfortunate I don't usually play with lasses on Destiny, maybe because I annoy enough of my male friends that the word has spread to stay away from playing with me competitively :P
