I do not see why a group of strangers cannot work well to beat these so called extremely difficult mission. This system is simply making people go away from destiny.

1 답변This needs to be added. Literally no reason not to! You want to play with your friends and not play matchmaking? Having matchmaking doesn't stop you from doing so! ADD MATCHMAKING!!!

2 답변I'd like to see people beat the raid on hard with no mic then a scrub leaving the game then be down a man. Yea... Matchmaking would be bad sorry to.say
-
3 답변Because people tend to use matchmaking to attempt content they are unprepared for and often do so without using a communication device. Doing the raid unprepared with no mic will almost certainly sink the randomly created team. The way it currently is works much better since a community builds around trying to find new players to play with in raids.

3 답변They could make it so that you have to unlock raid matchmaking by completing the Raid once.

7 답변I also think its stupied since i dont have 6 real life friends that have destiny, not even a ps4 for that mather, should i not be able to play the raid becuse of this? Also.. Im an old WoW player and i know teamwork is importent but, this is no reason for no matchmaking system for atleast the weekly strikes missions... This problem alone will get ppl to quit playing since they cant get further and getting tired of just grinding patrol missions and the same strikes... Bungie wake up plz..

작성자: DEZARATH 10/2/2014 1:50:01 PMAt this point might as well. Though Atheon will be a pain in the arse for a lot players who haven't fought him. But there's always YouTube and then you'll have a multitude of silent farmers who'll know their role.

I can understand why Raid doesn't have matchmaking due to lack of communication but the weekly strikes should have matchmaking, if you don't know how to do whichever strike is selected for the weekly then you shouldn't be trying in the first place. Plus if Bungie really is adding better voice chat/communication options in the future then matchmaking for raids shouldn't be an issue, a lot of people already know how to do the current one so explaining it to newer people wouldn't be a problem.

I rarely ever do weekly for the simple fact no matchmaking. Only time I ever did it was when someone asked me after being paired in the strike playlist. I hate having to go out my way to just to do one thing. I would like to do raids but yea.. Don't see that happening.. like ever. People are saying matchmaking shouldn't be for raids coz of communication. I think that's bull because Bungie is adding chat outside of fireteams, so can't really use that reason. Unless you have a clan or set with group of friends it's gonna be the exact same being paired with randoms in game or randoms on Internet. Those who already have full squads are pretty much unaffected by this seeing how they would have little to no reason to use match making anyway. Tbh all I really want is matchmaking for daily and weekly strikes coz it's very boring doing solo.

6 답변Sadly I may never end up experiencing the raid because of this. 10 years later: Still Lvl 27-29 :(

Atm it's allright for weekly/nightfalls but I've the bad feeling that they fix the spots which are needed to solo the bosses(like making an energy wall or something like that in a boss room as soon as you enter so you can't get back out of the room while fighting), before including matchmaking. Than this will really suck, because at least 50% of the playerbase will not be able to do the weeklys/nightfalls. I am certain that they are done atm mostly solo, because their is just no effective way to find ppl for anything ig.

1 답변작성자: Jay 10/2/2014 3:38:37 AMI agree 100% that it is stupid not to have matchmaking for the weekly strikes. They have matchmaking for the regular strikes and considering the shift I work, and the lack of people I know that are playing at that time, it is near impossible to get the people I need. One night a buddy and I requested everyone at the tower because we wanted to hit the weekly strike and everyone was busy with whatever they were doing. It really takes away a lot of the fun for me. Raids I do understand why they do no matchmaking although I have random people requesting me for them. So I see a lot of strangers hooking up to play it anyways. So in the end I feel if they had matchmaking for raids a lot more people would get involved. Maybe they could have a more strict ranking system for raid specific. I don't know. Maybe they could set it up so you can mark off if the players on your team left the raid, were disrespectful, not a team player ect... I don't know if that's the answer, but I would like more options without adding strangers to my list. I am selective about who is on my friends list and don't want to add 30 people (strangers) because when i want to do a raid at 4am I have more options.

1 답변The Heroic content (story missions, strikes) could really do with matchmaking, or at least some form of in-game LFG at the Tower. It's such a bewildering decision to externalise that crucial aspect of the game to another device with the app or a browser. This bothers me at least as much as there being less content than Bungie suggested in the lead up to release. I'm fine without Raid matchmaking, based on what others say about it. That said, I really do hope they consider doing 'lesser Raids' that only require three participants and can be set below 26. I play odd, inconsistent hours because of work, and getting five other people open to the same schedule for several hours across a few days is probably never going to happen. It must suck for the dev team to know that they've slaved away at a hugely unique bit of content, and something like one in 20 players is even going to get to experience it because of its requirements.

16 답변Weekly strike maybe but the raid? No way in hell, I would kill myself cause you NEED 6 decent players and if you have just one semi bad person it's damn near over from the start

2 답변작성자: StardustWaltz 10/2/2014 9:03:41 AMRAID absolutely not, you need a mic for that and no excuses. Partying with people who don't have one is a waste of their time and mine or anyones. Nightfall has no reason for not having matchmaking for it.
