VoG templar fight exploit bungie please read
People are jumping way out to the sniper perches on the templar fight and glitching this fight. Everyone is stacked so the relic can just cleanse and wait for super to charge while ignoring the oracles. The templar and his cronies do not shoot at you.
There are also players who take the shield and jump back up to the place where you spawn after a wipe. I would suggest placing invincible, OHK, melee mobs or a "turn back now" zone up there, as well.
Since so many of you are insisting that the templar or his mobs shoot at you from all but the farthest spot, or that this method takes too long, I decided to create a clip for you all. Once the relic holder is on the platform, the boss stops shooting. You can see the harpies sitting there not shooting, although they have a clear line of sight to me. The fight lasted for about 3:30 after the shield was taken. https://vid.me/6YY

To all of those below who can't tell the difference between an exploit and a strategy, I told you so.

It's not exploiting or cheating, it's using you're noggin to beat the boss using the given mechanics in you're favour. That is why they raid hard mode and you don't.

4 답변This strategy has been out for a while. Bungie defiantly knew about it before this thread. If they were gonna remove it they would have, maybe they still will. If they do I hope they have fun with it rather than just a barrier. Have the platform just drop after 3 seconds if someone steps on it.

3 답변In a raid with no direction, no map markers or anything. Its safe to assume we can play how we want.

The same effect can be achieved by standing where the right conflux appears, with no need to jump up there. Sure, people can and do go up there, but it's just a different spot for the same effect. We stood in clean view and reach of everything, yet we still ignored the Oracles during that part of the fight because we all stuck together in that area.

it's just pointless because the boss fight in itself is less annoying than cleansing every 5 seconds and you have great chances of dying when you get to enrage. When I run with my usual team we just fight the boss normally and we can now kill him without wiping. Ì'm the only one in the team with an alt character ready to raid so I tried it with a bunch of randoms who ended up trying this exploiting method and it took them 6 tries (long ones because we'd always wipe when there starts having many oracles at the same time) to finally get through it. During all that time I kept telling them that if we tried it normally we'd be already done with that part since at least an hour. Also because of the time it took and the annoyance, team members started to drop and we had a complete different roster by the time we got to Atheon, needless to say, we didn't beat Atheon that time
