Ohio State University: Worked perfectly until a couple of days ago which I'm now getting a series of Centipedes, marionberrys, Can't connect to PSN (which I am connected to PSN for everything else), and Can't connect to destiny Servers. I can't even get to my character Select screen. I'm Hardwired in with Nat type 1, so I'm not sure why it won't work. Ive checked with everything I can think of on my end and nothing seems to be doing anything.

작성자: alchemical_fitz 10/17/2014 7:24:05 PMLawrence University Appleton, Wisconsin Majority of errors appear to be BEE with the occasional CENTIPEDE (but I personally haven't seen CENTIPEDE since the 10/8 update). I've heard of other people having this issue but can't confirm if tech services has been contacted yet. Midterms just finished up so people probably will be attempting to play again after having been busy for the past few weeks. Playing on Xbox 360 as Peter 758

Hi, I'm at Nottingham University in the UK and I have contacted the IT support here however they refuse to help in any way. They said that while they don't oppose gaming on University Wi-Fi, they don't support it either, so will be unable to help. Maybe they'll listen to you guys instead? Playing on PS4 as Rhyman

So I'm at New College in Florida and I could play just fine the past two weeks, but post patch, centipede is back with a vengeance. At least in my opinion, this patch seems to have had an adverse effect and is going in the wrong direction. Please fix your crap Bungie, not once have I been able to start the game and smoothly run into it without some error and multiple tries.

작성자: BlackPoison357 10/10/2014 4:17:48 AMMy college hasn't gotten to play Destiny since it released because of Centipede Error and no patch has fixed it. I directed my college IT department to this page http://www.bungie.net/7_Error-Code-CENTIPEDE/en/Help/Article/11875 Here was their response
Upon investigation from the provided link from Bungie, there are network ports that are required to be opened on our Corporate Firewall, for network traffic from a device from outside of our network that is inbound and unrequested from an internal device to Bluefield College. This would open the Bluefield College Enterprise network to additional security threats not related to the game Destiny. While the Bluefield College IST Department wishes to provide the best possible service and use to our students we must also ensure that our network remains secure and in compliance to our policies and other industry and regulatory security standards that we must follow. With that being said and the knowledge that our networks primary function is for Academic proposes, we are unable at this time to open the ports. Thank you, **** ********, Manager of Network Services.
2nd Response
Our bandwidth shaping appliance does not have any updates available to it at this time. According to a few forum posts viewed by our Network Manager, it appears Bungie has been working on patches to resolve this issue though we did not see any tentative timeline for resolution. Unfortunately, we cannot open inbound ports without creating a potential security risk for our network. We need to rely on Bungie to address this issue via a patch at this juncture. Hopefully, they will do so soon as many other educational organizations are also in this predicament.
Problem Still Persists as of 10/10/14 12:17AM EST IT Department itdepartment@bluefield.edu
