[BUNGIE] Please read if you are seeing the WASP error code.
If you have recently started seeing Wasp while updating Destiny, please provide the following information to this thread so that we may further our investigation into this issue. Please only provide your information one time.

-If you are running on WiFi, mobile hotspot, or wired connection
Disclaimer: Please only post on this thread if you are receiving the Wasp error. If you post off-topic or unproductive comments in this thread they may be removed.

After the 1.1 patch players began seeing WASP again. If you are updating while using WiFi or a mobile hotspot, please attempt to install patches with a wired connection, as these errors can occur and halt progress. We will continue investigations on this issue.

This message was posted 12/01/14 and now, almost 3 months later, we still have this error. Instead fixing heavy ammo issues, cheeses for the raids etc.... Why can't Bungie solve a problem that happens all the time? And prevents us from even playing the game. xxxxelricxxxx Xbox one Wired/wireless.

Has everyone tried: 1. Add you Xbox to the DMZ of your router? 2. In destiny, press the Xbox button on controller, then press start and choose quit. This will exit the game properly and max fix these issues. Also any lost cheevos pop too!

Joedfitz77 Xb1 Wifi Cattle constantly at login, then a special variety mix of weasel, wasp, caterpillar (all within 20mins of a successful login) and occasionally marionberry. I ALWAYS have to download the 76mb update every-single-successful-login. Tried every fix recommended and rumoured. When I die in real life, I'm going to get 'weasel' or 'wasp' on my tombstone. In hundreds of years people will visit my grave and wonder what these things are.

Far King Kool Xbox one Wired and wireless Every time I start the game I'm prompted with the 80mb update and can never download it! Either not starting at all or getting as far as 90% done before presenting the 'wasp' error and it is absolutely infuriating, please fix asap! Seems like a stupid problem to have, yet will cost fans! Who buys a game just to not play it... Seriously.
