Sunsinger is VERY different from Voidwalker which will be very apparent the moment you use it. Voidwalker is very reactive; meaning you see a group of enemies and you activate it and kill them all. Sunsinger is very preemptive, so you have to plan out when to use it. Also when you're very low leveled, Sunsinger is very lackluster but it is made into a monster upon further upgrades. Some of them being: 1) Overshields upon merely dealing damage with Scorch 2) Self Revive 3) TWO grenades These are what I love about my Sunsinger. In PvE Use your grenades against bosses, sub-bosses and tanky enemies unless you're using the first one then go for larger groups. Try you conserve your melee ability for really sticky situations where your health goes critical (this is assuming you chose the upgrade with overshields). If you DON'T have Fireborn (self revive) then use it when you know you're going to need the extra shields and grenade spam. But if you DO have Fireborn save it for Darkness zones so that you can revive yourself if you do find yourself being consumed by Darkness. Also if you choose to have 2 grenades focus more on Strength instead of discipline. In PvP Definately save your super for your self-revive, however don't instantly revive yourself upon death you're just going to die again, wait for them to get closer because you can then use your Scorch melee ability which will be a one-hit kill. Your super won't save your life as often as Nova Blast because you still have to rely on your individual skill with your weapons. I would recommend you use a shotgun (I prefer Fusion Rifles so if you're good with those go for it) because if all goes wrong you just melee them and you get your shields back and then some.
