Tired of having to schedule my gaming. Open the game to matchmaking so everyone can enjoy your product at their leisure.
Just beat the Aetheon portion last night with a group that was created from people at the tower. Matchmaking would work.

작성자: DELETE ACCOUNT 11/28/2014 11:54:17 PMJust do me a favor and if they add it, don't bitch on the forums about raid trolls, rage quitters and afkers. Cause look at strikes, and people stealing raid check points, the real thing they are weighing is how much work it would be to prevent and mitigate that shit on top of adding the matchmaking, and they are asking themselves if all that would be out weighted by The benefit to the community as a whole. My guess is it wouldn't. Honestly if u haven't played it, it's hard to understand, but I would never play matching making because I wouldn't want to waste time because half the team didn't know the raid or when were paired with peeps who were afk or goofing off.

작성자: Striker93175 10/13/2014 6:04:27 PMSo up until this point I was up for matchmaking... But I had yet to raid. Using lfg I've now been through 3 times and I have to say the vetting of the team from levels to raid exp to mics... Matchmaking I feel is a really really bad idea. Anyone who argues about friends or time... It takes maybe 10 mins to use lfg and get a raid group going. Furthermore if you have the time it takes to raid, you have time to lfg. Finally if you "just want to try the content" and are going to leave because no mic or to hard or don't know what to do... Not only don't people even match made teams want you if your going to leave anyway - you have the time to hit lfg and can tell people first time and they can teach. It's just a bad idea and this again from someone who initially wanted match making. Just my two cents here.

It takes seconds to get a group with the external sources to get groups. That's been my experience, not the first game I've used external sources to get raid groups. It weeds out the people that dont want to put any effort into doing end game or lack the intelligence to find them. They aren't limiting you from doing content, you are limiting yourself.

1 답변작성자: gloeckner78 10/2/2014 8:18:43 AM+1 I am mainly playing on my own. So nightfall, raids etc. are sadly not an option. Would love to see matchmaking as an option.

I agree, I can see what they were going for, as to kinda force people to make new friends and to get more involved in the community. Which is awesome, definitely, although not everyone is trying to make friends all the time.

2 답변I often try to imagine how they developed this game : Ok, lets make an Multiplayer shooter shell we? Yes! Do we need matchmaking? No Ok, then we force the player to build groups by there own? Yes Good, than we need a chat/ communication system No. Ok, but Story, big epic Story? No But Weapons many weapons? 9 will be enough, just different attributes and colors. But we will have many different missions right? No, only 20 So the players can replay them over and over again. This all makes absolutely no sense!

So after a few days it seems that the argument is split just about 50-50. I just wish that so many of you wouldn't just bash the game out of hand. Destiny released on time, no delays i can remember (it may not have made the launch window, but what good games did?) It does have a... mostly... complete story (you have more than enough information to figure it out if you take the time to read the grimoir) and fast paced addictive gameplay. On top of this they're fixing issues at a continually improving rate. The servers are, by and large, fine. The loot system works with the most recent changes. The player base is huge and continues to grow (I cannot wait for Christmas noobs) and they have a plan for the future. Is it perfect? No. Is it fun? Hell yeah. It can be frustrating at times, but moat of the time it's wonderful, so why do you want more? Or to rephrase that, why can't you wait for more? It's on the way folks, the x packs are just around the corner.

22 답변Making a schedule for raid is part of raiding, that includes the nightfall btw. It's the same way in Wow and Ffiv and all other mmos. Sure you can do duty finder for the easy versions, but there is no easy version. The reason you can't do matchmaking is for your own, and everyones, good. Scenario: you've gone into matchmaking for the raid, and it takes 6 or 7 minutes to get everyone on the platforms to open the gate, however one guy is 24, Hugh enough to enter but too low to be very helpful, and he's paired accidentally with a guy with no mike. Now that platform is constantly overrun and your 5 minute gate segment becomes 20 minutes, then 30. You finally get in and open a chest and the 24 gets an exotic, even though he's not contributing well, and you're upset, but you keep going. Next area, he is new and doesn't know to kill oracles, now your trying to coordinate a whole new section and constantly wipe, but you figure it out eventually and get to templar... i don't think I need to explain what can go wrong here. Now by this point the whole raid realizes exactly who is pulling you down, and people start to complain vocally about it. The whole time this is going on this guy is consistently being berated and yelled at, on top of the fact he can't do the damage he feels he should, and he can't survive so he's constantly down and getting PISSED and words start flying, now nobody is having a good time, and the raid falls apart. That kind of stuff will be COMMON. If there's a raid finder or match making system it WILL happen.

+1 for this. If people dont like the idea/challenge of grouping with randoms then keep going with your fireteams. Some of us would love to do it. Its a pain in the arse wheb you want to do nightfall or raid but u only have 2 or 5 online.
