Activision was expecting a 90+ average on gamerankings.com and Destiny could only manage a 76!!! Now, Bungie ain't getting no bonus. You know what this means, when a game don't live up to expectations....Bungie may have had a 10 year plan, but I am sure it was ASSUMING the game did well. It may have sold well, but that was the result of preorders made BEFORE the reality hit and everyone found out the game is not all that. What will happen now that the game is a big disappointment?

2 답변Nowhere in there does it state (or even hint) that a sequel is unsure. The game's been out for a little over two weeks. There's a couple things you can take to the bank about Activision and Destiny. 1: They've invested a lot of money in Destiny, and they've already recouped their investment on the first day. In business, that's a pretty big win in and of itself. That means - everything afterwards is profit. How many people are buying the game that don't even check reviews, or read the forums? 2: Bungie is still one of the best game development studios around, and if anyone can make this into the game it should have been at launch, it's them. 3: Bungie is contractually obligated to support this product for years, and put out DLCs and content expansion packs during that time. They're also not stupid, and they're listening to fan feedback. A ship at speed doesn't turn on a dime, though - it'll take a little while for it to happen. 4: There's also a DLC scheduled for this year. That's not in the contract, that means either the contract was renegotiated, or Bungie/Activision knew this wasn't enough content at launch and has resolved to put in more content before Christmas. That's also profit, because it'll put Destiny back in the news around the prime selling time for Christmas. In short, you're being alarmist and putting words in an article that simply aren't there. I'm not big on Destiny (right now) and am disappointed in it, but I think the framework for a fantastic game is here, and it will continue to grow into the game it should be over time. World of Warcraft and Eve Online weren't built in a day nor any other big budget game that's required regular content updates.

7 답변The game doesn't suck. It just lacks content and depth... If that is added like a "true game", this game is easily 10/10 on PvE alone. Ppl are already putting in many hours with the same content, because of how good the gameplay is. Add a better narrative/dialogue, character development, interactive NPCs, real rpg quests, crafting, better loot and lvl system, better bounties, better patrol missions, distinctly creative weapon, sparrow and armor designs, in game lore, dynamic bosses who require strategies. The list goes on. I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting a lot, and ppl will add what ever else needs to be added in this game that can improve it. "True game" : meaning they have stories that are actually told well. That aren't extremely short, on a vanilla version and still have the ability to have sequels without telling us everything. Mass effect Fallout BioShock Skyrim Assassins creed The Last of Us Gears The list goes on. These are just my favs in no order.

Im sure there will be plenty of content that will be added in the future that will make an already great game even better! I'm excited to watch this game progress (: Hahaha and Everyone already knows that the ps4 > xboner... But if you have to bash on the ps4 to feel better about your purchase.. Then go right ahead ;)

2 답변Activision never looks at ratings. They are business oriented, they look at sales. The thing that Destiny did quite well. Nice try tho.

작성자: JayJ9Nine 9/25/2014 2:42:37 PMThen Activision shouldn't have pushed for squeezing so much goddamn money out of the game and affect the amount of content received day one. Not to mention kotaku has updated their review and has a positive opinion after the raid. And it's in no way a fail for ps4. Sales went up thanks to Destiny. Could it have gone better? Totally. But just because it had exclusive content is like saying gamestop failed because it provided preorder bonuses on a game that had less than perfect reviews.

PS4 sale tripled in the UK 6 after 1 week of Destiny dropping. Bungie doesn't care about the reviews. In a year when the game is more filled out and complete, they'll laugh at all the impatient console game reviewers. MMO style games are different, and console gamers don't understand. Not to say Destiny is an MMO per say, it's currently it's own genre/brand, which gives games exclusivity and massive playability for millions of people. Go somewhere, troll.

1 답변another "fail" for the ps4 yet it continues to triumph...smh why can't we just like all consoles as opposed to bash them all the time?

6 답변"Some reviewers did reviews 2 days after the game came out"? How in the hell do you do a proper review of destiny just after two days?
