So I beat the raid with a group of people I don't usually play with
it was fun but I don't see much incentive to try and clear it again and again, just to beat it on hard mode with a full set of raid gear and probably end up rewarded with a -blam!-ing all-white shader. can't wait to buy the DLC

also I'd like to state the lack of matchmaking is extremely frustrating even though I'm sure they will end up adding it in the future. Probably just a way for people to 'become legend' apart from those who are not in a clan or have a mic or 5 friends that want to spend 6+ hours in a raid. Disclaimer: I had fun throughout this raid and enjoy Destiny.
