Ascendant Energy and a Legendary Upgrade Tree
So I just maxed out the upgrade tree for [i]The Chance,[/i] which took quite a few pieces of ascendant energy.
My question is: if I decide to switch to a different gun, or decide I want to use those ascendant energies elsewhere, am I guaranteed a certain number or percentage of them back by dismantling it? Will I get them all back? None of them? A random amount?

Nobody here had a clear answer, so I dismantled it for science. I put in 18 ascendant energies, and received 5 by dismantling it. I also got a hand cannon telemetry.
Compared to the three you normally get for dismantling an unupgraded legendary, it's not a big increase.

6 답변Wondering this myself mate, i know standard i have always had 3 energys per legendary, upgraded i have no idea, its cost a load to do my scout rifle so would be nice to know wat i would get if i ever do break it... No doubt 3 energys with extra weapon parts lol

No idea, I have yet to dismantle anything I've upgraded. I know that if you dismantle a legendary or exotic with no upgrades you will randomly get 2-3 energy/shards for weapons/armour (allegedly you can also get none but I have never had that happen).
