I give up with the Crucible until Bungie get their act together and let us have a colour blind option for the hud.
I could never figure out why enemies knew where I was... all because the radar is next to invisible for me. I suffer with Red/Green colour blindness you see. So when enemies can use the radar, I am at a disadvantage because I cannot read it.
So who else is having problems?

1 답변작성자: YahyaTV 11/7/2014 2:15:08 PMWith Red/Green color blindness you can still use your radar fine, the radar uses Red on Gray and requires no red/green color discrimination to be able to use the radar effectively. The enemy shields on PVE requires color vision recognition, however one can learn, captains=arc, psions/minotaurs=void, cabal=solar etc Most people struggle PvP because they fail to understand how the radar works, this video guide (by Datto) explains it well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDumLvofnLc

1 답변I'm not colorblind and I can't really imagine what it's like but I at least know that sucks from what I've read. I thought that having these options was normal in games?

I'm colorblind also. Some games are worse than others, and Destiny is rough for me and the colors I suffer with. I've had to abandon 2 Exotic Bounties because I can't play PvP games or Cruicible. Does any other colorblind Guardians have suggestions on which bounties are best when you can't play the PvP games, or do they all require you to play that mode to complete?

Bump As a colour blind person with a kind of rarer random type and having heard nothing from anyone at bungie about possible updates to add this option. Main issue as stated by a lot of people is the radar, can be too distracting trying to read into it and having someone come kill you. Have to try angle the radar onto certain parts of the map to try see it properly.

For me the main problem is identifying the shield element type so I am force to try and remember. The loot has enough saturation to be able to tell the difference for me but the shields just don't stand out. I'd be happy with either the shield bar being a highly saturated version of the colour, or even better maybe a small icon on the energy bar to indicated the element required.

1 답변I'm color blind also and it has turned me off on the multiplayer cause I can't tell enemy from friendly. Hope they fix it, I love the game overall

I wouldn't care about the radar much... but then Bungie compounds the bloody problem by making the exotic bounties where YOU HAVE TO PLAY IN THE BLOODY CRUCIBLE. Other players know where I am coming from but I don't know where they are coming from. It's the ultimate fruckin genetic nerf. Bungie, PLEASE make a colour blind hud option... PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE. PvP is unplayable without it. I have no idea where the enemy is coming from and if I go slow, checking every corner I lose out to the players who rush ahead because they know where the enemy is. In future, follow the example by other FPS game developers who actually REALISE THIS IS A PROBLEM. Using colour to differentiate between enemies and friends is also a big nono. It's why Spartans vs Elites was fine and dandy but Spartan vs Spartan sucked bigtime.

작성자: NeoMorph WTH 9/21/2014 11:48:19 AMWell Fruk Crucible... Any damned exotic that needs Crucible is out of luck for me. I just deleted the golden bounty that required me to go 25/1 in K/D. I never know which way the enemy are coming, I never can tell which is friend and which is enemy... Let's face it, Crucible is very unfriendly to anyone with red/green colour blindness. Poor design. Poor execution. Oh and before anyone says "git gud" I have this to say... how come I have no problem shooting in PvE.... because I can tell who the enemy is WITHOUT having to look at colour schemes that are all but invisible to me. Here is how to fix it. Use Yellow instead of blue for the Radar. Make the enemy look like they are Fallen or whatever.... give us VISUAL clues that don't rely on colour. It's not hard to do... DICE do it on a regular basis for example.

I completely agree. This has been brought up before. I can understand how it can be hard to see the radar or even know what ammo you're picking up. Not to mention the color of engram you're getting. It really should be fixed.

4 답변I'm not colorblinded myself and I can see where you're coming from with this topic, but the fact is a majority of the players aren't color blind, so there's little to no reason to tend to your needs. However I do support the option to fix this.
