Shotguns are OVERPOWERED

1 답변I think the map design is what lends itself to shotty's. The gun itself is balanced just about right, but when the map allows for you to be within 10 feet before you even see your enemy, of course a shotgun is gonna have an advantage.

Problems with shotguns in Destiny: -only 2 maps with real open battlefields (First Light and Bastion); thus the rest of the map are generally more closed in maps and in few cases extremely tight (ex. Asylum) -since they are Special weapons they are accessible from the start of the match, contrary to other shooters (though not all) where Shotguns are a purchased, heavy, or limited weapon to gain access to -in relation to their closest counterpart (Fusion Rifles) they have a cone radius, faster fire rate, and need hardly any aim (FR have longer range and faster reloads but have to charge to fire) Essentially in my own opinion, the problems with Shotguns are easy access and general map layouts that are pro-close quarter combat

1 답변Shotguns are pretty much instakill in any game, just don't let them get close to you. Kinda simple to avoid getting killed by them as they're close range.

Shotguns are definitely overpowered in this game. The so called hotfix said it reduced the shotgun range. Complete bull. Ppl can still one shot you from quite a distance. It should only one shot at melee range imo. This is one of the most unbalanaced pvp game i have played in a while.
