Is anyone else having troubles with the Thorn bounty?
A couple of my friends tried running the lvl 26 Summoning Pits strike to kill Xyor the Unwed a little bit ago and...
Shit was hard.
Here's what we had;
-Lvl 27 Warlock Voidwalker
-Lvl 27 Warlock Sunsinger
-Lvl 26 Hunter Bladedancer (me)
All three of us were rocking at least one exotic and pretty much almost full legendary gear with all the base elements covered. Arc and Solar. We still couldn't handle the relentless waves with Phogoth and Xyor on us at the same time.
Any ideas?

작성자: Shaun 9/18/2014 7:59:19 AMDid it my first try at level 26 with another level 26 and a level 25. Just did it again few hours ago with a level 26 a level 25 who hit level 26 during the mission and I was level 27. First time was a Void Walker and a Sunsinger with me as Bladedancer. The time today was a Sunsinger, a Defender, and once again I was Bladedancer. You just have to have one person sit in the entrance to Phogoth hiding around the corner where the Shreaker can't hit them then have the other two run around in the arena killing the Mobs till Xyur spawns when he does run to the third guy and hide inside the entrance Xyur will eventually come in and just lay on him using your Heavy weapons. One person with a strong Solar Rocket launcher is recomended if hit dead-on it should kock his shield out in a single shot then the other two can go to town with LMGs.

2 답변We did it yesterday with same lvl players. It wasn't that hard. Make sure you bring heavy ammo... and focus fire on only 1 mob at the time. With headphones and mics it shouldn't be a problem.

1 답변Save all your supers for xyor. All you need for the bounty is to kill him. Not phogoth.

1 답변I'm having trouble too... but in the sense of getting the bounty to begin with. -_- I share your pain though. My friends and I did the Heroic today and it was plenty tough that we had to resort to cheap tactics.

3 답변I think one of the keys is having the sunsinger rock more of a support build while the others focus on dps. IIRC, a total of 8 waves spawn, so if you can focus on clearing the mobs and leave Phagoth and Xyor for last, you should be able to do it. Sunsinger should also have the resurrect that he unlocks towards the end so that he can res everyone if there's a wipe.
