STOP USING SHOTGUNS PULSE FIRE FUSION RIFLES in crucible man up and use something with skill -blam!- its annoying

They are supposed to be stronger than the other guns. I have no problem with them. I do, however, have a problem with the amount of ammo that is available constantly. That really lets people with shotguns only use them and nothing else. I doubt shotguns were intended for this, if it was, they would have made shotguns a primary.

As long as a weapon is in the game, people will use it and if said weapon is powerful, people will abuse it. You can cry, march, picket all you want...people won't give a dam.

What's wrong, Fusion rifles dont work for you so no one should have them? you're to "classy" to kill someone with a fusion rifle? or, is it possible, because you suck at crucible? and you are throwing hatred around like candy cause the truth that you are the problem is just too hard to bear? i have been killed many times by ALL weapon types, should we only have melee wars and make sure no one has shields or health regen on melee cause that's not fair either? nut up or shut up, play or dont play. Punch line is: IT'S A GAME! play or not, no one cares, deal with it or dont, couldnt care less, but stop whining. This mentality of "life needs to be fair" is childish, selfish, and unproductive. Grow up, realize you are no one special despite what mommy said, and be productive. End Rant

Here perhaps this will help any of you guys with fusion rifles. The best advice I can give in countering shotguns is 1) don't put yourself in a situation where you're outgunned by shotguns i.e. dude walks behind a corner and crouch, just leave it. 2) back peddle.

I use either scout rifle or hand cannon for primary because those are the weps I love. And fusion rifle for special. It's equipped for pve on mobs with shields. So sad that I roll with what I enjoy using and get face rolled by people that only use certain stuff because it's an easy victory, not because they enjoy it outside and inside pvp. I mean most games have pvp and pve items that differ, but this is just the epitome of a cookie cutter build for people that aren't any good. I'm horrible at pvp, though I'm not sure if tissue to skill or weapon choice. Prolly a mix of both TBH. Lvl 22 getting killed by a lvl 9 with an auto rifle because it trumps scout rifle even with heads shots is just plain broken.

Something with skill? You mean any super which is a guaranteed kill in most situations? You mean heavy weapons, which are almost instant kills? You mean like primary weapons, which all have aim assist and kill people quickly? You mean melee, which kills people in two hits and locks on? Maybe you should stop being bad. You might stop dying to shotguns.
