Titans! Do you prefer Striker or Defender? Why?
Titans! Which subclass do you prefer and why? Please vote above and then explain your decision below!

So I main a Hunter since beta. I made my second character a titan and went with defender first because I wanted to be able to support my team better in PvE. I have not leveled my Striker subclass yet because I'm hooked on Defender. Being able to pop a bubble up and blind enemies then shotgun them is a blast. No pun intended.

I love to be a team player and help (and at times carry) out my team and teach less experienced members on how to do said objective so in general make my team the best they can be as well as maximize there survival. I choose defender :)

Striker; because FoH, while easily being one of the most under-powered Supers in the game, is way more versatile than Defender. I might feel the need to smash a group of Minotaurs up every 10 seconds but only need to bunker down every two minutes because Destiny is very much a game of moving with few opportunities for camping - so considering it's a movement game, why put a random shield up in the middle of nowhere, halfway to the destination you were moving to, with doom in the form of a horde of Majors approaching and no escape when you could move onto your destination with a Shoulder Charge or two and maybe a well-aimed Death From Above at those Majors if necessary? Defenders do have their exclusive uses however, they are an oddly vital part of almost any Prison of Elders run, and also have enhanced capabilities in Void Burn Nightfall - so I'm glad I have that Subclass maxed out.
