Beagle Error Code...

[Xbox 360]Beagle Error code. Prompts me to delete and reinstall. Which I've done 3 times, still no progress. Even cleared the chache. Any feedback on this? I haven't been able to play yet... 60 bucks down the drain I'm guessing?

    • Same issue, on xbox one. have disk en route and hope it will be a permanent fix, will be a week till i can update since Im deployed and shipping takes a bit, hopefully fixed by then for everyone but for me its cheaper to buy the disc than to pay ISP for 18gb download over here. Very least it better be fixed by the time I get home in which case ill sell the disc

      • I forgot to ask everyone what Bungie asked me: Have you had ANY issues with other installs or downloaded games? I had some problems w/ Diablo III crashing and had to reinstall multiple times. At least that's what I think fixed it. XBox said they had a lot of similar claims though. [b] At least we're getting closer now that some of us got responses from Bungie. Let's hope they can figure this out soon with the info they're gathering. They do exist![/b]

        • Bungie why?! Are you doing this to us. 65 dollars now a days is a lot for us to spend on a game. The big problem here is that YOU GUYS DONT EVEN FKING SAY ANYTHING OR ADDRESS THE MATTER !!!! this is what pisss me off the most !!!

          • Finally got mine to work, reinstalled, cleared my cache, made my 360 a DMZ (router option), removed all other devices from the network (phones and tablets), and voila, finally working. Best of luck to those who are still struggling with this. One thing to keep in mind is your upload speeds have to be high or you will get disconnected regularly, even after a reinstall.

          • Try setting the security on your router to low and try loading the game then. I had same issue and it worked for me fine just set it to low and launch game that might hwlp

            • I got my game to work again. I had an hour long chat with Xbox support and the following steps seem to have worked for me. 1) Using your controller please go to HOME > SETTINGS > DISC & BLU-RAY > PERSISTENT STORAGE > CLEAR PERSISTENT STORAGE 3 TIMES 2) SETTINGS > NETWORK > TEST NETWORK CONNECTION (NOTE: Make sure this is all good, if it's not you've got a problem so contact Xbox support) 3) TEST MULTIPLAYER CONNECTION (Same note as above) 4) HOME > GAMES & APPS > UNINSTALL DESTINY GAME 5) SETTINGS > SIGN-IN SECURITY & PASS KEY > REMOVE ME FROM THIS XBOX/CONSOLE 6) Turn off console via hard reset (Hold the power button on the front until it turns off) 7) Unplug everything. Every wire. On the power adapter unplug the back plug, and unplug that from the outlet. 8) Wait 3-5 minutes 9) Plug everything back in 10) Go to HOME > GAMES & APPS > FIND DESTINY > MENU BUTTON CLICK > Install (NOTE: DO NOT START THE GAME AFTER THE DOWNLOAD FINISHES) 11) HOME > SETTINGS > DISC & BLU-RAY > PERSISTENT STORAGE > CLEAR PERSISTENT STORAGE 3 TIMES 12) SETTINGS > NETWORK > ADVANCED SETTINGS > ALTERNATE MAC > CLEAR ALTERNATE MAC > RESTART 13) Start game, and keep your fingers crossed. I'll post an update if this shit happens again, but so far so good. Hopefully this helps anyone else that's got this issue.

              • Been working on it since 7 am yesterday. Had the help of a good xbox agent. We're at bungie's mercy at this point. Honestly don't think it's anything we can do on our end because we've tried all we could think of. Will require a patch I'm sure and/or some collaboration with xbox. I've been watching forums, twitter, fb and doing google searches and will continue to. If anyone gets it to work or it gets updated, please remember to share with us and not get too excited with the fact you can play and forget about the rest of us! lol

                • Hey all, so I had this fixed, and now it's back. It was fine for all of yesterday then around 1:30am it shit the bed. Back to "Installing Destiny Verifying Content" after an "Unreadable content" message. Then right after it goes to 100% on the installing screen beagle error code. This is super frustrating. FYI I've done a full Xbox factory reset. This doesn't seem to be the issue, so save yourselves time. It looks like a download issue or a game issue itself. Not sure how there could be missing content if the whole damn game is downloaded onto my x1. Anyone got a better solution than delete, re-install?

                • Seriously, I can't believe their solution is for me to reinstall, then delete close to 100GB of data, save files from other games that easily represents 4-5 years of gaming at this point. I'm not going to reinstall their crap, I'm not going to factory setting my 360 just to have it not work. I want a patch that fixes this which requires no other work on my part (I already worked for the $60 I spent on the game, thx) or I want my money back.

                  • People keep going off on how much it sold and how big the game is, but what about the people who bought the game and are just sitting there waiting for a response in the forums since 12 am launch night and are not even able to play their game they spent money on. Bungie, you need a support number. Not just this forum crap where we just complain to what it seems is other destiny players.
