Edit: I was right
Not more than 16 hours after Raids have been released, they're already beaten
https://mobile.twitter.com/Bungie/status/511972115776425984
Streamer house beat it in two hours :P
I have yet to play the raids but I'll update this again when I do
Can't wait to see everyone's reactions when they beat the raids in an hour
Honesty it's not that hard
It's just point and shoot
I literally can't find another thing raids would have so unless you suck at pointing and shooting, you're set
I mean 7 hours for a raid?
Really?
We all know that's not going to happen
I doubt it's take 1:3O hours
2 at the most
Remember the Strikes?
How big of a deal that use to be?
And then everyone came in and beat it in 3O minutes
It's pathetic seeing these threads on how big of a deal raids are
And even if they are somehow 7 hours, what the -blam!- is the point of shooting stuff for 7 hours
Throw in a couple puzzles like that disappearing platform thing in the trailer and put in different enemies but in the end, it's the same
No one wants to spend the majority of 7 hours just shooting at stuff
It gets boring and repetitive
Plus
The only way that it's going to be that hard is to make the bosses almost unkillable and that's not good for the sake of difficulty
Just making you out more bullets into enemies doesn't equal more fun
Is rather have a shorter more fun raid than a long drawn out one
Bungie even said in the weekly update that the time that it took the clans to finish the raids were exaggerated
I have no doubt it'd be fun but I just wish Bungie would stop hyping up parts of their game
Just give it to us face value

1 답변There's point and shoot, but I'm sure there are other story aspects to it. Like a giant quest line just for that raid. I think it'd be ignorant to figure how long it'd really take until we really try it out. WoW is a point and click game, and some raids take hours depending on what you're raiding.

7 답변If you didn't already know this. They sent in 10 groups into the Vault of Glass. And only 2 groups made it to the first boss. I doubt you're that badass

8 답변작성자: xMr Poor 9/6/2014 8:04:44 PMThe raid (stop saying raids, there is only 1) will take about the same length as it takes to beat a halo campaign mission on legendary. Most people will do it in a couple hours. That's why they delayed it until the 16th, they knew that Aussies would have have it beaten already with their head start.

4 답변I think the biggest part will be the coordination between your team members. Yes it's a shooter and should not be difficult in that regard. If thats all it was then yeah it should only take a hour or two. However you have puzzles, a lack of checkpoints and spots where I'm sure certain classes will be needed to get through. I do agree that it shouldn't take 7 hours or a day but I don't think it will be beatable in an hour or two. We will just have to see.

1 답변The raid (only one) probably has no respawn for the entirety of it, hence the seven hours thing. Besides Bungie has mentioned numerous times that Guardians will need to unlock doors and that there are no hints on how to unlock said door. Sure you might get lucky at every single door and beat it in a couple hours, you might also get completely stumped at the puzzle and spend like 4 hours on it. We don't know what the raid will be like from start to finish. We will find out come the 16th.

19 답변작성자: Ingloriouswho98 9/6/2014 6:14:07 PMI love how everyone thinks I'm a fat stupid neckbeard who sucks at everything I play "He's hating on one part of the game!! He must hate the whole game and therefore, he's an idiot" The logic is hilarious For the record, I'm pretty excited for Destiny I just treat it as a game, not a god For all of you telling me I should twitch it, you're proving nothing I'm a student and a casual gamer on top of that By the time I get to the level required to start a raid, my point will already be proven 1OO times over by people with far more time than me I also love how everyone was all eager to defend Bungie on the fact that this game is not an MMO and then turns around and tries to prove me wrong by comparing raids to MMO raids -blam!-ing hilarious Also, yay for 1OOO replies :D

3 답변You could just be trolling, but I'll bite. Raids aren't just shooting and fighting, those are Strikes. Raids have puzzles and challenges that guns alone can't succeed at. Raids also don't take as crazy of an amount of time as we'd previously thought. You can start and stop them as was said in a previous mail sack. The "16 Hour Raid) was the collective time, not the time spent in the Raid (link above). If you're good, I bet you could bet it in 1-2 hours.
