Help with a PS4 controller
So im painting my ps4 controller and I want to know how the touch pad works. I need to know if the paint will effect the tracking capabilities or not. Right now I dont have any games that utilize the tracking abilitiy, just the button aspect, so I have no way to test this. If anyone can devise a test (idk put a sheet of paper over it and try to track?) please hit me up with a response.

2 답변its a touch pad if u put paint on it u will never be able to use the touch pad again. Warframe uses the touch pad and its very sensitive. i wouldnt paint the touch pad

1 답변Depends on the type of paint. The PS4 uses capacitive touch sensing if I remember correctly, so if you were to use a paint that has absolutely any type of metal in it, it will render the touch pad useless.

1 답변If you are going to paint it I would recommend taking the controller apart and place paper over the internals so you don't mess it up.
