A few years ago, I expressed concern over a tradition you held in high regard in halo reach, known as teabagging. My son, who was 13 at the time (this is his old account), "teabagged" his little sister after they had a fight. In other words, I found him crouched over her with his pants down, rubbing his testicles in her. He learned this lewd behavior from Halo Reach. I can't find the thread I posted, but I expressed my outrage that this kind of behavior was not only condoned in the halo community, but it actually became an in-game tradition. Now it is my understanding that the halo franchise is no longer owned by your company, so you can't do anything to prevent this "teabagging".
I do wonder however, whether or not such lewd conduct will become a thing in Destiny. I will not let my son purchase it until I know exactly what kind of conduct he will be exposed to. I certainly hope teabagging will only remain exclusive to halo, otherwise I will seriously file a complaint with whatever authorities necessary. This is not something kids should be exposed to. It's one thing to have imaginary violence, it allows our kids to vent their frustrations. It's another thing to teach them that it is perfectly ok to beat somebody up, then rub their genitalia all over their faces.
I hope I posted this in the right place, this website changed since I last used it.

3 답변Meh, it's better to do the Victory Cheer after a kill anyway. Teabagging takes less commitment to do well.

In assuming this post is real and not satire or a troll... Tea bagging has found its way into pretty much every online game with competitive multiplayer and a crouch function including, but not limited to, Halo, Destiny, Battlefield, Call of Duty and Elder Scrolls Online. So, unfortunately, there's very little online games you would be comfortable with him playing. Your best bet would be to cancel his XBox Live or PlayStation Network subscription. That said, because he was doing it with his pants down, I highly doubt he learnt it from halo- most video games don't allow you to take your pants off. The act of tea bagging made its way into computer games from the world of drunken house parties. The original act involved dipping ones testicles in and out of the mouth of people who passed out at parties, similar to how one dunks a tea bag to allow it to infuse with hot water. Finally, regardless of how your son came across tea bagging, any reasonable human being should know not to preform the act in real life. I'm sorry to say, but your son is the problem, not video games.
