1 exotic? really?
The only bad thing about destiny I can think of is the 1 exotic wep and 1 exotic armor at a time. 'Bout six months ago i was hyping up with my friends about destiny saying, "oh man I'm going to be decked out in full exotic gear man! I'm getting Red death, Closing time, and Gallahorn. I'm going to be soooo awesome!".
Really disappointed :/

They are called exotic, it's better than say......only being able to own one exotic weapon and armor at a time, and then have to get rid of it before you find another one. There could be a tie in related to light within the exotics imbued by the traveler, and the weapon and armor draw from the wearer essence , using a second could render nonfunctioning if another is equipped.

1 word. Overpowered (Not sure if that's considered 2 or not) The stats some exotics provide are AMAZING including some skills from your classes skill tree all together. So this is just to balance the game and make you really think what exotics you want to use. While yes I do think having a exotic primary is the best choice for your exotic weapon due to the high ammo economy thus increasing the amount this weapon can be used

3 답변For me, it's a matter of I think too damn realistically. Putting on a helmet shouldn't effect which gloves you can wear. However, I get that the exotics are way strong. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'd rather the exotic armors be toned down a bit, so I can show off a complete set of exotic armor. I think you could even do like dragon age, where a complete set of the same armor gets a bonus of somekind. I get only having one exotic gun though.

I can understand the disappointment in this, but I'd rather wait for the full game to come out before I make a decision on how I feel about this. Having a bunch of legendary(or epic?) armor and weapons should still be good.

7 답변The special abilities for exotics are insanely good if you had 3 exotics weapons and 4 exotic pieces of armor you would be insanely OP.

3 답변Here's the deal. You have 2 choices in making exotics balanced in Destiny. Option A: You can wear multiple exotic items, but they each give one good buff and plenty of stat choices to level. Since you'll be able to stack them, to balance, they are weaker than current implementation. Option B: Make players choose one armor, one weapon, but give them 3-4 amazing buffs. They can wear legendary in the rest of their slots. I like Option B. It actually gives you more flexibility in your item choice and gameplay imo.

4 답변I hope that the exotics can actually match well with other pieces of armor as I'd hate to have some badass gear with glowing green, only to have the rest of my gear be a different color. It will drive me insane. Hopefully this is where shaders can help.

11 답변You can have all exotics in your inventory at all time, just not able use them at the same time, meaning that while in game you can rotate your gear to the playing field! Dude it's called strategy and it's a smart way to balance every ones character while using different exotics in game! Bungie knows what there doing. Game development was well thought out.

As far as I know theres nothing stopping you from having more than the amount you can equip. Just one weapon and piece of armor at a time. I'll be keeping multiple exotics, and swapping them out as needed for whatever situation I might need them for..

To be honest, as much as I wish we could bling ourselves to the mac with all exotics, Guardians with full exotics would be god-tiered. I hate to say it, because I wish we could, but Bungie has done this for a legitimate reason. :T

Almost like have exotics be able to be enabled or disabled, which would get rid of their active buffing ability. They would still have standard buffs, and do good damage, but come on Bungie. I understand balance, but that doesn't have to take away the fun factor.

If you have all exotics the your items are doing all the work. You'd be like " oh look what I found" (equip) "now I'm OP"

They do it for that exact reason so your not too op as well as it keep you changing up your playing because you'll want to use or try out that new helmet but to do that you have switch thugs around. It just keeps the game fresh and always changing which is what bungie wants b

1 답변I don't care for exotics, I want erotic man and I want lots of oil as well. Nothing like being rubbed down with oil before combat. Also smiting your foes with a dildo machine or riding into combat on a sybian vibrator. It would put fear in your foes.

6 답변Dude it's really easy to change out your gear, want to carry more than one exotics weapon? Buy ammo packs for em. Can't help with armor. Personally I don't think they will drop as easily in the beta and we won't have enough to complain about not being able to use them all at once
