I don't think you understand what Atheism is. Also I don't think you understand logic. And I don't think you understand the controversy about this topic. I'm gunna go out on limb and say that you follow Christianity. Besides that being a highly popular religion, and Christians are the only people I have seen try to argue about this. First of all, science [b]never[/b] went knocking on the doors of the church, saying "down with God! Down with Jesus and his disciples!" Never has that collectively been the goal of scientists who are Atheists. Which is currently 93% of the elite scientists in the world... I don't need to provide evidence for saying that, it's a well known number, if you don't believe me, look it up. As science has progressed, yes it might have interfered with some of the explanation and understanding that the bible brought, but it [b]never[/b] once attempted to break down [u]faith[/u]. However, the Christain church has done an excellent job at stunting scientific progress and ideology since the times of Galileo and before. (Another thing I don't feel the need to provide evidence for, once again look it up if you feel the need to dissent) So, when you ask us to reason our disbelief to stop your bickering, when all this does is have the Christain community bicker [b]more[/b], you look like a jackass. It's a completely ignorant subject to argue about by the way. Secondly, you speak of Atheism as a religion. Stop that. It is not a religion of any sort. Quite the opposite actually. Now let's move on to the fact that the argument itself between Christians and Atheists is a complete logical fallacy. Your God [b]cannot[/b] [u]currently[/u] be proven in any way, shape or form. Our Big Bang theory [b]cannot[/b] [u]currently[/u] be considered fact in any way, shape or form. If you notice those statements are very similar, and very true, but as it stands the Big Bang one is different. Why? Neither side can "prove" anything. There is only faith and doubt respectively. There is no point in creating conflict over something that neither side will ever agree over.

Ok show me proof that he is real other then a book written over 2000 years ago. Show me a video of someone meeting him. I can ask you to prove to me that he is real. You have a question that can go both ways if you arnt willing to answer it for yourself dont ask.

I'm an apatheist. I don't care whether or not there is a god. I don't have the time to think about if there is one or not and I believe it will be many more years before we are capable of discerning whether or not there is a god. We cannot conclusively say whether or not god exists. If you told someone 100 years ago about the Internet and Quantum physics, they would think you were a mad man. If you went back another 100 years and told them that man will walk on the moon, they will say that you're a lunatic. We are no different, our understanding of the universe and of science, compared to what we will know in 100 years, will be worth nothing and people will look back and wonder how we were so ignorant. Tldr: I don't know what to think of God and I don't know whether or not he exists. I do know that I am wasting my time by arguing for either side as I cannot conclusively know the answer and would end up contributing nothing.

It is unnecessary to disprove that which has never been proven, otherwise you must assume all deities have to be real.
