I can understand if you meant for it to be exclusive from a business prospective, but if you mean because you don't want xbox to have it, then all I see in this post is, "Xbox got Halo, so to be fair, we should get Destiny exclusively! We got God of War, Uncharted, The Last of Us, Killzone, and many other great games, but not Halo! Therefore we deserve Destiny as an exclusive!"

I guess it's a good thing no one cares what you think. Here's what matters to game developers: More platforms = wider demographic = more money. Here's what doesn't matter to game developers: you being butthurt that your exclusive titles arent as cool as most multiplatform releases.

Playstation has Killzone, Uncharted, LBP and many more. Whose fault is it that they don't get as much hype as Halo or Zelda? But Bungie really wanted to make a multiplat game. They already wanted Halo to be a multiplat, but Microsoft had the contract written sooo no chance on that. If Activision would've said that Destiny would be an exclusive, Bungie would've simply gone to another company.

3 답변작성자: DarqueAx 8/11/2014 6:30:36 PMYou're just thinking of mascots. Like how nintendo has mario and link, xbox has master chief. Ps has a lot of great exclusives but there is no one character that has been synonymous with ps since the first Ps. However destiny is not a good game for that. The characters arent unique by design. Who can you brand you actually market from this game? The ghost? The nameless guardian? It will be a great game but its best as a multiplat.

2 답변Halo wad only exclusive because Microsoft owned bungie at the time. It doesn't now so they aren't douching out and costing themselves money at the same time

I agree the PlayStation needs a flagship console exclusive game but I don't feel this game should be it. Destiny is too good not to share with all the Xbox folks. Even though I can't stand some of them who post these same kind of posts.

1 답변Um....for millions of people, Uncharted IS PS's flagship game, it's a console seller, not to mention killZone, resistance, the order of 1886, infamous and let's not forget one of the most top selling games on any console Gran Turismo. Those may not be flagship console exclusives to you but to many they are, limiting a game to one platform only hurts us as gamers.

6 답변Well, if you think about it, Bungie put so much work into Destiny, it would have too much effort if it was just on one console. Besides, Xbox kicks Playstation's *ss.

3 답변작성자: PoeticBullet 8/11/2014 3:30:32 PMWhile this is an idiotic topic it did get me thinking all the way back to 2001. Call me crazy but I'm pretty sure the Halo/Bungie exclusive was a direct deal by Microsoft based on the similar deal sony already had with the smash hit of/by GTA/Rockstar. After all Microsoft was the new kid on the block when it came to console gaming so they did need something that was more than simply PC game makeovers. While Rockstar eventually did release to Microsoft the GTA 1-3 package several years later I can't see how that means Sony is due anything. Maybe Halo sequels were destined to be multi-platform before 343 aka Microsoft bought out the rights from Bungie but who can say? It certainly doesn't mean Bungie owes Playstation fans anything they could never afford to buy, such as full exclusive platform rights.
