So who else is cancelling their pre-order?
Just curious. Am i alone here? Everyone is now saying its 1 zone per planet, and from what i saw in the Beta thats gonna get dry sooooo fast. Story missions, strikes, raids and exploration all take place in the same areas. Thats basically just a bunch of recycled content. I got excited for this game when they said, "Each planet is as big as the entirety of Reach", and it seems like thats turning out to be a lie. It sucks, because this was my most anticipated title and ive lost all my excitement for it. Just wanted to hear some other opinions.

1 답변I'm gonna keep the thread alive. No way am I canceling. Actually I am, but only because I'm going digital. It's a damn good game, don't let the size keep U from playing. If u got a chance to roam around on the moon during that two hour event like I did, then u know how massive that level is. Dude, it's BIG. I'm not worried at all.

Lol the fact that you're already making this decision not to get the game based on the beta is ridiculous. You heard each planet has 1 zone. That's still more content than any other game out there. Sounds like youre spoiled

People have been playing COD just for simply the multiplayer alone for almost a decade. Destiny will have plenty of things to do every day and every week. Soon you'll be biting your nails not to just get your hands on the game, but to see what you will get in the raid the next week. It's a loot hunt game. And loot hunts last forever (:

4 답변um hello did you do explore mode at all i found so many areas we were unable to get to in the beta ONLY because of the enemies with the red ??

2 답변I don't know. I've heard there will be multiple areas for some planets. The game hasn't launched yet. I enjoyed the beta. I'm not going to cancel my preorder on wild guesses and concepts. Bungie has kept a lot of information close to their chest, mostly because they want to surprise and experience a lot of it fresh.

21 답변The amount of content in these areas is massive. Why is it an issue? That we have experienced[b] most[/b] of old Russia is true but we haven't seen the entire area or the vast majority of the moon. Not to mention mars or Venus. There is still so much to see and if you want out, go ahead cancel but we won't miss you start side friend. It's not about the areas it's about how much we can do with them.

Well, what a commotion. Remember this was a beta test. This game has all of the best features of the other best games out there. There is loot, you get that when exploring. There is the Tower where you can buy and sell and upgrade and customize. There is the social interaction which you just do not have in other games. The Crucible and Iron Banner are great spins for PvP. Levelling up makes the most sense it ever did from any game I've played, you do, your armour does and so do your weapons! I preordered after playing the beta. This is a game I do not want to miss. Before this my most played series were Halo and CoD. You grind the fun out of those games to level up and customize. And K/D? Who cares?

2 답변It was a beta..... Can't fully judge a game off that and there's already two confirmed expansions that they are already accepting money for, the game has a "10 year lifespan" and I'm sure bungie is smart enough to know how to keep it fun. I mean I still play halo combat evolved.

I'm going to say you can definitely judge a game buy the beta in most area... Size is one thing you can't judge... For some it's everything they thought they wanted for other they won't like it(I'm sure it's not many of those) and for other they like it but found things they wanted that are not there... We did play 25% of the original story.. The DLC will provide a little more... We can judge that the game play if fluid and the graphics and cenematics are awesome... A lot of us have complaints as well.. As a lover of all things MMO and I know this game is not an "MMO" I like to be able to have full control over my character class, skills, and custimization.. The beta showed me I will not be getting that and it is what it is... It also showed me that I will have to some how join with other people I know to play this game correctly.. I'm use to just joining whomever is online... Or I play solo.. I'm always the rouge/assassin/DPs guy but I love the hunter and I know that hunters in this game or more of a support role and my special will work better from a distance... But what I didn't get to see if the bladedancer will work better for me and after all I've heard it probably will... All in all I'm saying that you can make some early judgments for yourself if you Luke the game or not... I think the game is good.. I've already paid for my LE but I don't think I'll be playing long after I finish the story and do all the raids... I feel like the MP is going to turn into another COD people more worried about K/D than actually having fun..

I preordered Destiny in while ago and was quite curious about the beta. So after playing all three classes in pve and pvp I kinda had to cancel my preorder... and buy the collectors edition! I don't care what "everyone says", especially if everyone is no Dev! People talk a lot on the forums, you know...
