Halo will hurt Destiny
Not saying that Destiny is bad, in fact, it's actually an alright game. But with MCC coming out, the Halo players will buy their Xbox ones, if they haven't already, and then, by the year later that Halo 5 gets released, Destiny will have lost much of its players.
People loved Halo 2 & 3. MCC will hold both of those games.

I will be playing destiny. I have played every bungie halo game hundreds of times. I still play halo 1 but for me its time to move on. I have not so much interest in halo 4 or 5. Ill get the new collection but it isn't a new game. The novelty will wear off much quicker i believe.

24 답변Would you like Bungie's new hotness or their warmed over leftovers? Face it. The MMC is a poor substitute for a new Halo game. MS/343 is betting on your nostalgia to get you to buy games you already bought before. It's a seriously disturbing trend lately. Seeing companies go back and rework their old gaming glories instead of forging them anew, is sad.

6 답변True. There are definitely a lot of players that will abandon Destiny, to go and relieve some nostalgic fantasy as the MC in 1080p. And that's cool. The original trilogy is amazing and anyone that hasn't played it, ought to. I don't think it will be too long before the novelty wears off for vets though. It's still a D-move from M$. - Using a polished up version of BUNGiE's legacy, to pull players away from BUNGiE's new ip, which seems to favour being a Sony title. Can't say what Halo 5 will be like but for the gamers sake, I hope it's everything they want and more. They deserve it after the last atrocity. Go on M$!... Milk those udders.

It honestly wont considering the fact that what kept most people going back to Halo 2 & 3 were the ranking systems and the constant addiction to better yourself, in Destiny only on the beta alone I can tell you for a fact that addiction is greater. I was a gen in Halo 3 had great memories in high school on the game, I love the entire first trilogy but I wont touch MCC till next year if at all cause of Destiny expansions.

It will hurt the population on xbox one for sure. Luckily I'll be playing destiny on the ps4. Although I don't believe it will hurt it enough to make it seem like there aren't enough people. Alot of old halo fans were put off by that shit game halo 4 so we aren't just too excited by halo 5.

In a years time both Tom Clansey Games will hurt halo. Halo won't even grab the reigns from COD, and that's a yearly franchise. I love Unreal Tournament, and can't wait for the new to already come out. But FPS games have moved away from it. Many will still play, but its not going to reclaim the FPS throne. neither will halo.
