Exploration has always been a part of gaming that has held a special place in my heart. I spent the majority of my time just walking around and riding through the ruins of Old Russia, seeing what I could find. I can't wait to just get on with some friend to search for secret bosses and hidden stashes in all the different worlds.
What do you think though? Is exploration important to you in a game? Or is there something else that has your attention for this game?
EDIT:
If you are down to Explore, my PSN is LunarSpy. See you at Day 1...hopefully.

I love exploring in video games. It was definitely my favorite part of the Destiny beta, and I'm sure I'll spend more time exploring in the full game than anything else (especially since I'm not a fan of pvp). I'm really glad that there's no map and chests respawn all over the place, so exploring feels kind of aimless and you can almost forget where you've already been. I'm super excited about No Man's Sky for the same reason. Exploring in that game is (hopefully) gonna be amazing.

If this was just an online pvp shooter and thats all I probably wouldnt be interested as I like to wander about and explore and take my time, this is the first game I have ever played on line when I played the Beta.

2 답변Indeed. My skill at shooters probably ranks in the lower 25% of all players and my KD ratio will make that quite obvious. Exploration, for me, is the one way I can get some enjoyment from the game. It doesn't hurt that Bungie has some of the best artists to be found.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the beta quite a lot, but the exploration left much to be desired. Other than dead ghosts, whose reward was to break my immersion from the game by encouraging me to go to my computer to look up whatever grimoire card I'd just acquired, or the gold chests, which rewarded me with a sparrow that I'd already easily bought long before collecting the final chest, there wasn't much to really find. The lackluster side quests and the copy/pasted caves that glimmer chests could spawn in were disappointing as well. Now that all of that criticism is out of the way, I still enjoyed exploring in the beta, which is a testament to how enticing the environments are and how engrossing the gameplay is. I'll be checking out every nook and cranny in every area of the final game, and loving every minute of it.

It's all I did during the alpha and beta. I'm more of a laid back gamer, so exploring is my style. Looking forward to do the same on other planets as well as being able to get past locked/guarded spots in Old Russia. Always happy to help other guardians out. Add me if you would like. Good post topic. Hunter class PS4/PSN sadmagicman.

Yes. I wish more people would talk about this. I didn't give myself time to do sight-seeing in the beta, because everyone was rushing around with what little time we had, and my fireteam wouldn't let up on the objectives, and shooting of things. Also, did you notice how the enemies spawned everywhere a lot? That was rude. Never a quiet moment. When I get bored of shooting up Fallen, I'm going to take the speeder bike for a ride and try to just get away from it all, man.

1 답변The moon got me really hyped its so HUGE just the one part that we could explore. Too bad none of the doors open but that would ruin the full game fun if they where :P.

Exploring is a means to a end. It's like going down the street to collect smoke butts. Sure when you first play the game exploring is very interesting. But when you have lived in a map for a whole week you need something to do with your exploring other then collecting spinmetal. This is where doing free roam jobs takes you all over the map and you get something to do as you explore and I also love doing bounty hunter jobs as this gets me enjoying the same thing. Exploring is fun but you don't want to fall into the trap of getting bored to death.
