Close Encounters On The Road
Share us stories where you almost got into a wreck. You can do wrecks too. Here's mine:
[spoiler]After school my dad was driving my brother and I home. We were on a highway, for reference. So we're driving, and all of a sudden there's a truck swaggerin' on down in our lane (two lanes, btw). I don't know what he was thinking, whether he was texting or if he was drunk. Anyways, my dad doesn't notice him until he's about 10-15 feet away. My dad has to get into the shoulder to avoid getting hit (just to point out how far into the lane he was). It was a very close call and would have been a horrid wreck had we not noticed him in time. The truck doesn't get back into the other lane until the car behind us has to get out of the way. Some people here in Texas don't need a license. [/spoiler]

1 답변On the freeway and the idiot in front of us just suddenly stops for some reason. Braked so hard that I could see the smoke come off the tires, came only within a few inches of the moron's bumper. INCREDIBLY lucky no one was behind us. Scary shit.

2 답변I was merging and there was an SUV several hundred feet behind me. I hit my blinker and start to merge. Suddenly I hear a blaring horn, look in my mirror and the SUV is coming down on my ass. I swerve into the shoulder and narrowly miss getting hit. I'd guess that SUV was going about 70 in a 55.

1 답변I did get in a wreck, but it wasn't in a car, exactly. [spoiler]When I was in 8th grade, I had to ride the bus everyday. We were at an intersection, and it was our turn to go. There was this little SUV that didn't stop, and like 2 seconds before we actually collided, I [i]knew[/i] we were going to crash. So we did, the SUV was wrecked, the bumper and front right mirror of the bus were gone. Supposedly, the other car's driver was pregnant, already had a baby in the car, was on the phone; those were the rumors I heard. [/spoiler]
