Hive vs Fallen Battle?!?
Hive and Fallen battle it out in the "Sky Watch" area, don't know how this happens though but seems pretty cool...

1 답변I've come across them fighting before.. I usually felt a bit guilty interrupting them by...killing them.

1 답변I saw that before the end of the Beta. Myself and three other Guardians were lucky enough to be together at the time and....some how despite having no comms were able to survive the onslaught with much loot....and a lovely Sahara for me.

2 답변I was ending a defend the Warsat when it happened. It was me and two other random guardians. We got surrounded. It started good... but then they came. Knights and wizards on one side... Servitors and captains on the other. Levels high as our own, some higher. They broke our group up as we all scrambled for any cover we can find. This broke up the chain of supers. I turned as captains surrounded and killed the other two guardians. Then I was hit, I turned to see there glowing eyes. They downed a fallen near me then it became clear as more Knights started stepping from behind the scattered boulders... the last thing I seen a was the glowing hands of a wizard and the energy rounds from the surrounding knights.

1 답변I was riding around in my sparrow and I saw them battle I went away pulled out my sniper and just watched, it was just vandals dregs thralls and alcolyes. They all were pretty low health but I think the fallen had a little more soldiers but I didn't get to see who won because a group of guardians came and killed them all so in the end guardians always win

1 답변One reason I love the game. I believe all the other aliens are hellbent on taking over and will fight for dominance. Though on the sight of a human...they set aside their fight and proceed to kill the human.

1 답변I've also seen them duke it out in the rocketyard. The area you spawn in during the devils lair strike mission. I have footage of both. Its crazy.

1 답변[quote]Hive and Fallen battle it out in the "Sky Watch" area, don't know how this happens though but seems pretty cool...[/quote] See devils lair "hive and fallen let's hope we don't stumble into the crossfire" also in the area behind skywatch where you find the ghost in the room with the "??" hallowed knight they are fighting, everytime you go in skywatch they are fighting, war between the Fallen an Hive is mentioned and is part of the lore for the game. So how did it happen you ask? It's part of the programming, Hive an fallen are basically battling it out for dominance on any given planet!

1 답변I usually farm kills/chests/glimmer in that area and have had that event a few times and it is freakin awesome!!! Lots of high ranked enemies and chaos going on. Loved it.

1 답변I came up out of the Hive ship and found that battle going on... I got 6 ultra kills for my vanguard bounty but I also never actually made it out of the Hive ship without dying. The battle finally ended after I respawned for the tenth time lol

2 답변I stumbled across one of those once and joined in. Very difficult battle but so epic! I think they happen twice a day is what I heard, they send out their best into an epic war.

2 답변Yes!! Other people experienced this crazy unique event happen too!! My co op partner and I had this happen to us twice and we theorized every little thing we could as to why it happened. We thought that maybe Bungie was blowing us a kiss after we survived a run through of the '??' tunnel connecting the Grottos and the Refinery... on foot. Both times the events happened, it would initiate when we were in the area - not minutes after surviving that horror of a cave.

1 답변I had no idea what was going on when I stumbled into a hive/fallen war. It was insane, there were knights, wizards, fallen captains, those sphere dudes too. It took a long time for it to die down.

1 답변In most games I've seen these scripted fights never do much damage to each other or intentionally do a fraction of their actual damage so you almost never have a winner. Just a long stalemate until you interfere.

1 답변I've seen it a few times and it's very cool. It definitely makes the world feel more "alive" in a sense then all enimies vs just you.

5 답변I've seen this happen twice but in a different area. It's pretty cool. The only explanation i can think of is territory disputes. In halo several factions were under the banner called the covies. Just because these guys work for the same boss and want the same thing doesn't mean they like each other. So i assume none of the factions like each other but ally under the darkness because they want to own the universe. And they can't all own everything. So they get into fights.

2 답변It's a random event, you get a little message before it happens saying "The enemy are moving against each other" then it starts to spawn waves of increasingly higher ranked enemies until you get the Hallowed Knights, Wizards, Servitors, Captains etc. Was one of my fave moments on the Beta (except maybe unleashing the hive on the moon, reminded me of the flood level in H1!)
