Changing player appearance after creation
If we are unhappy with our character's appearance after we've created one and kept playing anyways, there is currently, no way to change your appearance without deleting the character and starting over.
I suggest for an option in the character selection menu, to edit your character's appearance. This way, we can remove that horrid face paint that wasn't as good an idea as we previously thought.
Obviously, it can be implemented in a different way, but the general idea of being able to edit characters is much needed.
EDIT: Why this isn't in the final game beats me, hoping this poll is enough for them to see how much we want the option.
EDIT2: A year later and TTK is out, still nothing about this. What gives? Also I'd like transmog too.
EDIT3: With Rise of Iron coming out in under a month, it is unlikely that we will get such a feature in Destiny. A real shame but I do think it is likely that we will see a feature like this in the sequel that is being worked on.
EDIT4: I guess what we really want is more options in general. Bungie if you ever read this, please add more options for players(The recent change about green items should've been an option). Like the option to fully customise our appearance, emotes, shaders etc. Really hope Destiny 2 does this, anything else would be a disappointment.

I would love to have an NPC in the tower who could facilitate this. However - my concern is that this feature becomes monetized and requires silver. I could justify paying glimmer for the option, but I would be disappointed to see this become a micro-transaction option.

TBH I think some people when they started had a bad and weird looking character idk why bungie hasn't done anything to resolve this , it's like cmon bungie listen to the people that are trying to make the game a bit better .

Okay. Bungie wants a mock mmo with fps gameplay. So let's get this straight. [i]EVERY MAJOR MMO LETS YOU CUSTOMIZE YOUR CHARACTER POST CREATION.[/i] It's like an rpg must. I think the only rpg that has a huge cult following that doesnt allow this is diablo... and they have transmog so it's not even needed. If I'm bored of my character's "facepaint" and want to change it, i should be able to. If I dont like the way my eye color goes with my favorite shader and want to change it, I should be able to. If I want to dance around like a pretty freakin pink pony for a day by changing my hair color.... [b]I SHOULD BE ABLE TO.[/b] Listen. Tess over at eververse is preaching self expression day and night. Character customization is the [i]HEART[/i] of self expression. Bungie, do you see this opportunity? I know you guys arent stupid. You are intelligent game designers with ideas for days and the creativity of true artists. You've made a beautiful, successful mock mmorpg from the bones of an fps company. You guys have talent. I dont care what other people have to say negatively about this game... it is still a solid title. But... there are people [i]leaving[/i] this game because of this fatal flaw. I shouldnt have to delete a beloved character and remake them because i dont like the way they look. [i][b][u]I WOULD PAY MONEY, ACTUAL MONEY, WITHOUT HESITATION IN ORDER TO DO THIS.[/u][/b][/i] Now I understand if you guys dont want people changing races. It wouldnt make sense. But... my hair style? My hair color? MY EYE COLOR?! [b]MY SKULL FACE PAINT THAT I FOR SOME REASON CANT WASH OFF?!?![/b] I would even go as far as to say that you shouldnt be able to change your skin color and race unless you make a new character. But... check this out. What if, for the holidays, you released some....TADA BONUS CONTENT. A brand new extra dlc that costs....iunno, 5 to ten bucks? And in this magical gem is the ability to customize you character, post creation....for silver. Brilliant? Yes. And people will buy it by the THOUSANDS. Just...think about it.

I'm really curious, because players are so damn willing to pay for this (I count myself as one of those players). And moreover, I can't find any reason that might prevent them from introducing this character customization. Should be an easy task in my opinion

2 답변Yes please. You can't see the hairstyles in full after you create the character and some of them are straight up awful.
