Hello my friends, as a fellow Christian I feel I need to support and stand next to my brother.
Instead of attacking JBo for his beliefs you could easily realize that you don't have to comment. SOME NOT ALL of these people commenting are hilarious and seem fairly unintelligent. Here is a message to the people who are being so rude.
First off, if you're just going to insult him based on his beliefs just think before you do it. Is this really what your time would be best spent doing? JBo is a Human being who has feelings, he does not deserve these hateful comments.
The reason he probably wants to play with Christians is so he does not hear God******. It is offensive, and yes even I slip up and say it sometimes. We are not perfect and we make mistakes.
I do not see why everyone is getting so mad and being so hateful, all he wants to do is play with people who see the world in a similar way as him. A lot of the time in party chat people go off talking about other things than the game. Yes, sometimes it includes Politics, or Religion. Why is it so bad he wants to enjoy the company he will have.
A message to JBo, Hello my friend, I am sorry that the community has lashed out and was so rude to you. I sincerely hope that you have an Amazing time and I know God will bless you. This just shows that the Power of God is strong, so many people will try to bring you down for your belief in our glorious and forgiving God. Stay strong and don't listen to these fools who try to bring you down and waste their day doing things that are not needed.

Thank you! That means a lot. I feel like atheists get a bad name. I don't believe what you believe by any means and I know you don't believe what I believe by any means, but people can still be nice regardless of what they believe and the differences they have. You don't have to agree with someone on everything to be nice. God bless you, and I do not mean that in a sarcastic way, I am not trying to make fun of you. It's just my way of saying have a great day and I hope you have a good life and stay safe. So please do not take offense. Also, thank you again it's so nice to see genuinely nice people out there. I would like to apologize on behalf of other atheists who hypocritically try to assault others for not believing what they do. However, assuming that all groups other then Christians swear more than Christians is itself an ignorant presumption about a massive group of people, and therefore in and of itself a form of hate.

It's not really a form of hate, in general Christians swear less than other groups of people. I do see how you could say that, because I am sure that other religions frown on swearing. I am just speaking in general if you listen to a Christian gamer versus an Agnostic, or Atheist they would hear less offensive swearwords. I won't say that Christians don't swear. I swear and I am a Christian. I am not proud of it but nor am I ashamed if it. More so then swearing in ever sentence, I will edit that part out, it can be misinterpreted in a way that I did not mean. however there is a significantly less chance of hearing God****** playing with a Christian than someone who doesn't believe. Another example say someone believed in Allah, you would not hear Allah****** as much if you played with those who also believed.

작성자: Kaosis 7/23/2014 5:40:27 AMI guess it makes sense that specific swear would be used less, I try to avoid it (and also saying 'Jesus Christ' or 'oh my God' as exclamatories) because I know it's deeply offensive to some people. But otherwise, anecdotal evidence does not a statistical truth make, and it's that exact sort of mindset ('if it happened to me it's gotta be true for everyone') that we should try to avoid, since it's been the basis of every sort of prejudice from disliking tofu without having personally tried it to racism. You know, they actually did a study on people that cuss a lot, and found that people that curse more in general have a greater capacity for sympathy. Don't ask me why that makes sense, it certainly is counter-intuitive, but studies, better than personal experience, are good indicators of general trends. Either way I appreciate your deleting that comment. It's a refreshingly mature move from a person on the internet.

You don't have to thank me for deleting it, I like to have everything be as straight forward as possible, I don't want things to be misinterpreted on here, because emotion is hard to convey on the internet. Also on that study, I can sort of see it in a way. I think that you could be just as sympathetic without swearing. but in the society we live in today most people use swearing to convey their emotion and say how they are feeling. I also try to avoid things that could be offensive around other people. If it's with friends it is a lot easier to know that someone is joking and not trying to belittle someone else.
