Are the Strike Mission limited to 3 to occupy 1 of each class? (I have not taken much notice in the teams I've joined if it's like that). If it's set that way, why? At level 8 with 3 people doing the first Strike Mission on the Hard difficulty, takes a while, especially if you all die and re-spawn and have to restart.

Concept Idea
8 man Fire Team
Strike mission limit: 4 guardians
At mission start you select like your team Alpha or Bravo as your would in multiplayer.
Alpha team takes care of objective 1, 2 and 3.
Bravo team takes care of different objectives 1, 2 and 3.
Upon reaching the last 'phase/ stage' of the mission, the teams re-join to take out the leader.
This concept idea could even be expanded to a higher limit like 12 (multiplayer limit) and at mission start with groups of three 4-man fire teams. OR four 3-man fire teams.
